El Tanzanice Farm Lodge está situado en una granja operativa de 4 hectáreas, a 4 km de la ciudad de Karatu. La puerta de Lodoare a la zona de conservación Ngorongoro está a 12 km. The staff was so kind. The family style meals were so delicious. I loved dinner. The pool was nice but we didn't have enough time to swim as it rained in the morning. The beds and room were comfortable. The hotel is near the entrance to Ngorongoro Conservation Area so it's pretty convenient to stop there on the way into or out of the park. The hotel supports a farm and local school which I love. One of the staff was a former student of the school -- she was very sweet. They also clean your bags- I was shocked by how dusty everything got on safari. I would definitely stay here again.

La ubicación en lo alto de una colina con unas muy buenas vistas a un valle. Situado en una zona rural muy tranquila. Alojamiento bastante nuevo con una bonita decoración. La comida excelente.

NGORONGORO CORRIDOR LODGE Karatu está ubicado en Karatu y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al jardín, bicicletas gratis, un jardín, salón compartido, una terraza y un bar. Staff were very helpful sorting out a tour. Welcome drink on arrival. Beautiful grounds, self contained cabin with bath and shower and a separate seating area. Mosquito nets. Great chef with buffet supper twice and personal order the first day. Recommended.

Wow, our favorite lodge we stayed at during our 10 day Tanzanian safari roadtrip. We stayed 2 nights and wish we had stayed more. The setting above the Rhotia valley is spectacular. The tents are also really nicely done, and we loved the stylish little touches (eg. the robes!). The pool area was lovely, and the perfect spot to cool down and enjoy the view after a day in the crater. Some reviews complained about the distance to Ngorongo but we didn’t find this to be the case. It was only 30 min to the entrance to the confirmation area, so with a typical early start you could easily be one of the first ones in. The real issue is the drive from the gate to the descending road to the crater, but there is no way around that unless you want to fork out to stay inside the conservation area / along the crater - and we didn’t! The food was also really good, probably the best of the lodges we stayed at (despite not being the most expensive!). Good food made with love - especially the BBQ they did one night, I ate my weight in pork ribs. Lastly - the staff were *so good* :) Friendly and with good senses of humor :)

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge cuenta con vistas al jardín, está ubicado en Karatu y tiene un restaurante, salón compartido, bar, jardín y pileta al aire libre. Inside the national park! Swimming pool area was something special after the safari with a stunning view on the manyara lake! Bar and afternoon exhibition of local people! Jambo! Evening time is really suggestion , they will attend you from the room to the lobby restaurant etc while you can hear the iena in the night. Good food ! Perfect room

Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late but they staff were super friendly and kind. Lodge was comfy and clean, breakfast good with delicious packed lunch for our safari. When you arrive at Octagon Lodge you know you’ve arrived in another world.
