Excellent location, just in front of the beach, which is very important for Zanzibar, as you don't want to walk through local's houses to reach the beach, good breakfast, good coffee, staff was really friendly and was trying to help with anything.

There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!

Zanzibar Butterfly Centre is 36 km from the accommodation, while Jozani Forest is 36 km away. Abeid Amani Karume International Airport is 69 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Monkey Mountain Lodge has great location with stunning views over the green forest and blue ocean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Mattress and pillows are very comfortable and better than in many hotels. And beautiful red colobus monkeys added the final pitch to our stay.

A balcony with pool views is offered in all units. If there has 6 star avaliable. I will give to it. The pool its being clean every morning. kitchen its open for use and the roof patio its lovely to relax, either for read or do yoga. The decoration of room its very modern and funished. Love the mattress and pillow. Able to get well relax at night. There has small beautiful garden at the Lodge to walk around. They have the knowledable taxi driver and we felt very fortune to be able to do tour with him. The Lodge its close to the beach, and easy access to shop and restaurant. Safe to walk around in the night. Thomas its lovely host. He solve problem efficently. Organize everything and pentient. Thanks him give us many places to visit and the delicious resturants. I definitly will go back again if I am in Zazibar again. Highly recommand it.

The spacious chalet features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a toaster, and 1 bathroom with a shower. A private entrance leads guests into the chalet, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. The property has an outdoor dining area. We stayed at the best place in Kizimkazi village! Yasmin was amazing – she took care of everything for us, from organizing tours to making sure we didn’t miss the whales. It’s definitely worth asking her about anything you need. The house is cozy and pampering. In the mornings, we ordered delicious breakfast from Yasmin’s restaurant. We felt completely safe – there’s a guard on-site 24/7. The house is surrounded by forest, and the moment you enter the path leading to it, it feels like stepping into a fairytale. No doubt we’ll be coming back at the end of our trip. Thanks to the whole team – and big thanks to Mama Yasmin!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a vegetarian breakfast. This was a lovely stay tucked away from the busy part of town. Would love to stay here again, and would reccomend to freinds and family.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bath and free toiletries. For us nature-lovers, this was a dream accomodation, surrounded by nice forest with lots of birds, monkeys, bushbabies etc. The entrance of the national park is only 200 m away. The room was prepared very nicely with flowers on the bed etc. Hotel staff were extremely nice, calm and very helpful. We tried several local items on the menu in the restaurant, and we simply LOVED the food, which was excellent and reasonably priced. If you dine there, you must try the swahili selection!
