Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Paje Emerald Escapes is a recently renovated chalet situated in Paje, 600 metres from Paje Beach. I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, yasmin ecohouse zanzibar is situated in Kizimkazi. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We stayed at the best place in Kizimkazi village! Yasmin was amazing – she took care of everything for us, from organizing tours to making sure we didn’t miss the whales. It’s definitely worth asking her about anything you need. The house is cozy and pampering. In the mornings, we ordered delicious breakfast from Yasmin’s restaurant. We felt completely safe – there’s a guard on-site 24/7. The house is surrounded by forest, and the moment you enter the path leading to it, it feels like stepping into a fairytale. No doubt we’ll be coming back at the end of our trip. Thanks to the whole team – and big thanks to Mama Yasmin!
