The Hello Capitano restaurant had nice seating arrangements, with nice views of the beach. The sea facing room we got had a nice cushioned area where you could lie down and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the waves, which was extremely relaxing in the morning.

One of the best hotel stays ever! Strongly recommend Joyce and team for your holiday to Zanzibar, everyone made us feel right at home. The hotel was incredibly cozy and homely, with a traditional, beachy feel and beautiful garden and pool. There is lots of space to rest and relax with direct access to the beach. Dinner is served family style each evening - it was wonderful to get to know the other guests and the team was able to cater to our dietary restrictions. The hotel staff helped us organise several different activities and excursions on the island once we arrived, as well as airport transfers and drivers whenever needed. Communication was very smooth.

All common areas are aesthetically pleasing, serene, and designed for comfort. 3. Restaurant-Level Food & Outstanding Cocktails The food exceeded every expectation. Even with All-Inclusive, you’re not getting buffet-style meals—you’re dining à la carte, choosing dishes from a full menu, prepared fresh by the chef. The cocktails were equally impressive: balanced, creative, and delicious. 4. Incredible Staff & Service This is where the hotel truly shines. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. You can feel that both management and the team truly care about their guests—and that level of sincerity is rare and priceless. 5. A Five-Star Experience (Even if It Says Four) I’m honestly surprised this is rated as a four-star hotel. The service, design, food, and overall experience easily match a five-star level. I would return without hesitation. This place is truly special.

Evergreen Bungalows is the most beautiful place on earth. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!

I will give to it. The pool its being clean every morning. kitchen its open for use and the roof patio its lovely to relax, either for read or do yoga. The decoration of room its very modern and funished. Love the mattress and pillow. Able to get well relax at night. There has small beautiful garden at the Lodge to walk around. They have the knowledable taxi driver and we felt very fortune to be able to do tour with him. The Lodge its close to the beach, and easy access to shop and restaurant. Safe to walk around in the night. Thomas its lovely host. He solve problem efficently. Organize everything and pentient. Thanks him give us many places to visit and the delicious resturants. I definitly will go back again if I am in Zazibar again. Highly recommand it.
