Set the bar so high about hotels in Zanzibar. We moved to another hotel on another part of the island and instantly missed Safaya. Everything was perfect. The best part was the private beach area. It was so easy to access the beach from our room. The beach is safe with a guard there 24/7 making sure no one comes to bother you and even at night we could take walks on the beach without having to worry our safety. The room was spacious and clean and well equipped and the view from the bed of the ocean was beautiful. Even the private pool and hammock in the balcony was such a bonus and so romantic. And the cute swings on the beach were great for photos. Our anniversary was well spent at Safaya. The staff were so friendly and helpful. On our last night we had an amazing dinner on the beach with a live band and it was lovely. We loved our stay so much. This hotel is perfect if you want to relax and just chill at the beach. Would definitely recommend it and come back.

Nastanitev Shanuo Beach Bungalows se nahaja v mestu Michamvi in ponuja brezplačen WiFi, vrt, zasebno plažo ter teraso. Breakfast was superb, location could not be beat. Just a few hundred meters from The Rock Restaurant and right on the beach. Lovely spot!

Unlike many places on the island, the cosy atmosphere here has been preserved. All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The food was always great — and the cocktails were next level :) We were almost crying when we were leaving…

Nastanitev Paje Emerald Escapes se nahaja v mestu Paje in nudi celoletni zunanji bazen, brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We arrived late at night, and the key was safely secured in a lockbox with a code sent to us in advance — which made check-in completely stress-free. When we entered the accommodation, it was spotless and even more spacious than we expected. The pool was always clean and well maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. A special thank you to Lesley, who went above and beyond to help us when our first flight got cancelled. She arranged everything in the background, allowing us to enjoy a truly stress-free stay. A thoughtful detail we really appreciated was the luggage scale — very useful after buying many gifts for family and friends. We also received great assistance with arranging local transport such as tuk-tuks and taxis, thanks to Lesley and Emmanuel’s helpful advice. The compound is well secured, which gave us extra peace of mind. Overall, this was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. If I travel to Zanzibar again — which I definitely will — I won’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!
