Our family had a wonderful stay at Utupoa. After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

This boutique resort is a must visit for anyone traveling to Zanzibar. The rooms are perfect for any couple visiting, with private water closet, rain head showers that are roomy and spacious. Beds are comfortable with mosquito netting; the staff offers mosquito spraying and turndown service every night. There are TVs and small refrigerators in the rooms, with fresh water provided daily for guests. We have a partial ocean view which features a small dip pool/tub, private chairs for sunbathing as well as chairs on the small patio. By all means, upgrade to the partial ocean view - it’s worth it. There is also a large infinity pool for guests to use if you do not want to upgrade to private settings. Our visit included the full all-inclusive package, which was an added cost, but was well worth it. All non-alcoholic, waters, coffees, and as well the alcoholic drinks and meals are included with the package, try the sangria!! I must also add, compliments to the chef, the meals were always delicious. Breakfast and lunch are a permanent menu, while the dinner menu is a rotating menu and changes nightly keeping the palette entertained. Some nights featured live music during dinner as well. Finally, the staff was amazing, from conversation to providing the best service, organizing excursions and taxis, kudos to this whole boutique resort. We will be back one day!

Zanzibar 37 km uzaklıktadır. 5-nights stay in this perfect place to chill and relax, with plenty of options on the beach to hide in the shade from the cruel equatorial sun (beach beds, hammocks etc.). It was our choice to go lazy all the way, but perhaps next time (there's definitely going to be a next time) we're gonna take advantage of the kitesurf school next door or the excursions (ie. snorkeling trips) on offer - maybe it's also possible to take some fishing trip? Cocktails are great and all the food we had was super tasty (as I'm writing this, I'm drooling at the thought of those seafood soups). The staff is very attentive and warm.

A warm welcome with fresh coconut water beautifully decorated with a flower 👌. The room is perfect, and the ocean view is absolutely amazing and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful the food and drinks are always delicious 😋 . I highly recommend this place

Deniz manzaralı ve Mtende noktasında yer alan MONKEY MOUNTAIN LODGE tesisi restoran, bagaj muhafaza alanı, bar, bahçe ve teras olanaklarına sahiptir. Excellent staff and owner. Very sweet. Excellent service. Excellent views from restaurant/bar and rooms. Only two minute drive to the beach. Food was great too.
