As a tour operator, I booked this place for my clients. The place was super nice and the communication was very effective. We reached a little late and found Eunice and other two staff waiting for us. This was super amazing. We spent three nights at the property. Every night Hippos came in the compound to feed on every night. Hippos come with their young ones. I saw a whole family of hippos. 😜Mama, Papa and baby hippo. They come twice a nice at night Between 20:00hrs - 21:30 and then come back between 2:30 - 4:00 The place is very close to Kazinga channel boats and few km to Kasenyi gate in Queen Elizabeth national park. Since am a Birder, I could always start my birding while in the compound. I took enough Pictures of birds. The birds you are likely to see are;; Red necked spurfowl, laughing dove, mourning dove, snowy crowned Robin chat, white browed robin chat, black lores babblers, pied crow, marabou stork, village weavers, black headed Gonolek, Dideric cuckoo, ....... Then as you join the main road, there's a bush where you can see variety of birds.

The welcome was warm, the staff were helpful, and the food was good. The peaceful setting and beautiful views were a real highlight. I especially appreciated the hike to the waterfall and the flexibility to arrange an activity based on my interests – I didn’t realize there were tours available. I also found the mention of local cultural traditions very interesting. Overall, a great experience, I'll be back.
