Absolutely pristine facilities: the bathrooms smell like freshly sawn wood. The lovely staff member who greeted me, whose name I am sorry I forget, was kind and generous with advice. My creek had a little deck over the water and I saw a moose with her calf. Excellent thoughtful touches throughout the facilities, such as coffee in the cabins and a hair dryer in the ladies’. I wish I’d stayed more than one night!

O dono da pousada Sr Don foi prontamente nos buscar de carro na estação de trem (liguei no celular dele), e após deixarmos as malas na pousada, gentilmente nos levou para dar uma volta de carro na cidade. Talkeetna é uma cidade bem pequena, mas bastante aconchegante. Nosso chalé era espaçoso, limpo e muito confortável. Tudo perfeito. A poucos minutos a pé do centrinho da cidade e do aeroporto de onde saem os passeios de avião.

We stayed at the Backwoods Lodge during our trip from Anchorage to Fairbanks over Thanksgiving week 2025. The location was perfect — tucked away in a quiet spot yet convenient for exploring the area. The owners were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a cozy retreat after long days on the road. They were flexible when we needed to adjust our reservation, which we really appreciated, and they provided plenty of helpful local tips about dining, sightseeing, and travel conditions. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. Overall, Backwoods Lodge exceeded our expectations. If you’re traveling through Alaska and want a comfortable stay with genuine hospitality, this is the place to book.

Beach Roadhouse fica em Haines, Alasca, e oferece acomodações com Wi-Fi grátis e estacionamento privativo grátis. Huge room, with a well-equipped kitchenette and enormous bathroom. Exceeded my expectations and was a very comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. A mile outside Haines (which is a great little town) along some rough roads, but really peaceful and secluded. So glad I stayed!

I truly had the most wonderful stay at this little cabin which, is surrounded by the natural scenic beauty of North Palmer. Michael and Darcy were kind and welcoming hosts. The cabin has been a project that has been meticulously hand-crafted from love and has everything you need for a comfortable stay❤️ I especially loved the upstairs loft bedroom which, looks out to Birch woods at the back of the property and is such a cozy little space to rest for the night. The property is also, in a convenient location which, gives easy access (within a 20 minute drive) to areas of scenic wilderness and natural hiking opportunities like, Hatchers Pass as well as, an array of local amenities/shops in Palmer and other points of interest including, the little Musk Ox Farm which, I visited during my stay. My only regret is, I was not there for long enough to explore properly and will definitely book a longer stay next time😊

Com banheira de hidromassagem, Big Lake Alaska Cozy Cub Cabin with Private Hot Tub & Sauna fica em Big Lake. Everything was available to you from toiletries to coffee and creamer. There was nothing lacking, everything was clean, comfortable and perfectly cozy.
