Quiet and peaceful yet well situated for all things to do with the lake. Check in super easy and responsive team. Swing the coyote pups on the field at the end of the road was an added bonus

Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. Such a comfortable and cozy place to stay. Exactly what we were wanting to experience as a couple coming from Australia who don’t get to experience this kind of environment … a true experience for us. We also liked that our suite had cooking and laundry facilities. After a couple of weeks on the road, we felt at home.
