The outdoor space is truly a highlight — spacious, well-maintained, and featuring excellent and fully functional grills that made cooking outdoors a breeze. The fireplace added the perfect touch of comfort, and the bathtub was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking or exploring. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this place strikes the perfect balance. I would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I did a road trip and stayed in motels most of the time and this was our last night and boy was it amazing! We made dinner at home, sat in front of the fire, sat in the hottub and looked at the amazing night sky. Everything you need is there. The host left clear instructions and care for the house. There were many books about the area. I would definitely recommend staying here at least one night. Home away from home in the desert.

The room was spacious, the bed was ridiculously comfortable and it was dead silent at night so naturally deep sleep ensued and I woke up refreshed! I didn’t eat the breakfast so I am unable to comment but the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Only 7-8 mins drive to charming downtown Nevada City and a little further is Grass Valley.
