What an awesome and unique experience! Loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back. Beautiful setting and views and the stars was something special to see! The hot tub was an absolute hit with the kids and us and the hammock is also such a nice added bonus. Friendly host ready with ice and wood and even snacks if needed. Comfy and clean beds (even extra length!) and tent fully equipped with anything you can possibly need and more! One of the best weekends away!

The setting is peaceful and beautiful, right on the Sundays River, with nature all around — birds, monkeys and a real sense of calm. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and thoughtfully set up for self-catering, with lovely little touches that made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Being so close to Addo Elephant National Park made it an ideal base for game drives, while still feeling private and tucked away. The eco-friendly, semi off-grid setup worked perfectly and meant no disruption from load-shedding. Overall, a genuinely special place — tranquil, well-run and excellent value. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

The villa and luxury tent were great to stay in and we all slept well! We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

We were very pleased to eventually visit Nieu-Bethesda, even more so when we arrived at Furrows Lodge. The room (outside) was spacious and well equipped. The setting is in and amongst trees, tranquil. Swimming pool and braai facilities are also available. Try "Die Waenhuis" Restaurant for a meal (part of Furrows Lodge). Everything is within walking distance. Highly recommended.

It was really spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The owner, Noel, is really friendly and welcoming. The view from our cabin was gorgeous. The kitchen was fully stocked with good quality appliances and cooking utensils. Each bedroom had it's own large bathroom. There is a very nice coastal hiking path on the farm. We felt so at home during our stay at Anglers Paradise that we were sad to leave. We will definitely be staying there again.
