A wellness trip that should bring relaxation and a bit of activity was what I was looking for and it was exactly what was offered at the Lueg. The german couple that manage the hotel are were so nice in accomodating me. So many little things. For example they noticed that it was my birthday and lit a small candle on a small cake for me; so cute! Then they fired up the wellness area although I was the only one using it. But I was so greatful. It gave me exactly the relaxation I needed after a hike which was also aided by some recommendations by the host. Then the two dinners and the perfect service by the bavarian waiter on the first night. As there was a seminar going on at the hotel at the time, there was a small conflict in intressest in the smokers lounge. The waiter managed this situation like a boss. He quickly took the initative when he realized my wish to have a smoke after dinner and asked the people from the seminar what their plans were. Then he organized the two rooms for each of us and everybody was happy. That's what I call perfect service. This guy should get a raise :) The hotel is off the beaten track, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Still it is reachable by public transport directly from Burgdorf.

The property exceeded our expectations in person, far surpassing the pictures. It boasts a fully equipped kitchen and offers complete seclusion. Martina and Amir were exceptionally gracious hosts, enhancing our stay by generously sharing some of their farm-fresh eggs from their own chickens.

The hosts were very friendly, and the location was very peaceful too. It was far from hustle and bustle of the city, overall we had a very comfortable stay.

For our family it was perfect!! The host was very accommodating and friendly. He made all posible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The price is very correct for swiss standards. The best thing is the location 200 metres from the train station and car park and the fully equipped kitchen. Negative point small bathroom!

Very good clean apartment and easy to reach. The apartment has all the facilities and it was awesome stay. Kitchen was well equiped and all was available at ease. Highly recommend. Also the host was very helpful.

the hotel was great! we arrived with a dog and found a bag of treats on the table at the room. that was very thoughtful! the staff is friendly, Wi-Fi works perfect, the bath is huge and the beds are comfortable. Burgdorf is a beautiful city. highly recommend!
