Great spacious corner room. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant dinner in the biergarten, secure bicycle storage in bicycle lockbox. We were allowed to check out of the room a little later so that we could visit the Metten abbey library.

I visited Schloss Egg last year for the first time. I really loved staying at the castle. I had an opportunity to stay there again this year with my cousin after showing them the pictures. This is an exceptional place! The room we had was spacious, stylish, very clean, with a free minibar, an impressive TV, and the most comfortable bed and pillows. In addition to that, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is dog-friendly, which is another big plus. And there are many small details like free drinks and snacks at the reception, a gym and even a sauna that you wouldnt expect at a hotel in this affordable price category. We absolutely loved our stay here and can't recommend it enough!
