Very welcome after a twelve hour journey. Also very understanding when front door key "lost" and spare provided. Also very understanding when "lost" key found in pocket. Unlike my wife.

Wonderful staff! So friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a fabulous meal in the exceptional restaurant. We were served by two lovely ladies who, although busy, always had a smile on their faces and were happy to chat and joke with us. The bedroom was perfectly adequate with a modern shower room. Very quiet at night, even though the village road passes the front of the property. The chef surpassed himself on the delicious food we ate. Highly recommend eating here! The owners/managers (who were also the chef and his front-of-house wife!) went above and beyond in helping us to find the right broadband in order to watch Emma Radacanu playing and winning in the US Open. It wasn’t easy but they stayed up late to enable this for us. Definitely value-added service!

A beautiful remote cottage surrounded by woods and a pond with frogs which one can hear in the evening. One can dine outside and have a feeling of being truly in the nature. The owners were very nice and the cottage is very lovely, even more charming than in photos. If you are a cat lover, bring some cat food as you will be visited by several cute cats.
