A true treasure! The rooms are small but the guests have the entire living room area and a terrasse with gorgeous views to themselves - as there are only 2 rooms, it's very comfortable and quiet. Iain is the perfect host - more than perfect. We haven't had such a good breakfast in all Scotland - traveling vor a month! We'll come back

They were so friendly and helpful. When the power went out on the street they made sure they came and gave us an update. They also replied to a maintenance request quickly. The cottage had a wonderful view.

We stayed at 8 different places during our travels thru Scotland and this was my favorite! It's close enough to Portree but far enough away from the hustle, bustle. The property is very comfortable and everything that you need and enough room to spread out. The gardens are absolutely amazing and it's such a welcoming, lovely place to return to after a day of sightseeing. I highly, highly recommend this property.

Location was minutes from Portree and felt more rural than staying in town. Hosts were exceptional and everything was perfect. You can walk the grounds and see the Old Man of Storr from the road, and have mountain views at the doorway. Excellent location, excellent hosts, above and beyond!

If you ever need to find a place like heaven, be sure to visit Georgie and Rick. They are such lovely hosts and on top of that, it is the best B&B I have EVER visited. Luxurious, quiet setting, all the amenities you’d want and away from the busy tourist center but not too far (5mins/car). Breakfast system is also good as you get to choose the evening before what to eat. That way, you don’t have to get up to a buffet. It’s a win-win situation for both guest and host I suppose. I recommend her selfmade granola ! A plethora of books are to be found in the hallway that will guide you on Skye. Booklets which you can lend by the way. If that isn’t enough, you can ask the hosts for advice. Over 100 DVD’s can be chosen to watch a movie. You can sit in the couch in the breakfast room or the sofa on the second floor.

Cuillrigh was absolutely wonderful. The view took our breath away. We loved all the amenities and the welcome gift was very thoughtful. The house was decorated with many items from local artists which can be found in Portree. One of the best BnB's we've stayed in by far. Although, not really walkable to downtown Portree (~3+ mi one-way), it is a short drive and worth the views and privacy. We lucked out on the weather (warm-ish days, little rain), but also made it slightly warm in the house.. be sure to read the welcome book as it describe the best ways to cool the house if it's warm. The house was very spacious, the linens were high quality and well kept, and it was nice to have large towels to dry off with. Overall, this place was incredible and we will recommend it to friends as well as stay here again.
