Ann and Martin were the perfect hosts and couldn't have done more to make our stay better. The breakfast was superb and beautifully laid out for us when we arrived at the table. Our room was large and perfectly furnished - a large screen TV, a nice variety of teas and coffees with a slice of homemade cake each day, and a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was luxurious...as was everything in the house. The large communal lounge was a lovely area to relax in, and given a long warm summer evening, we'd have made use of the roof terrace.

Absolutely lovely pub and hotel. The food was delicious (both the pub menu and the breakfast included in the room price), the staff was terrific (they make you feel right at home from the get-go) and the hotel room was just gorgeous! It really exceeded my expectations!

There is a lot to like. Toby and Emma are lovely, down-to-earth, friendly people. The room is comfy, light and airy. The annex in which the room is located is separate, private and tranquil. Field Cottage is in a leafy, picturesque area. Pleasant walks and nice pubs are close by.

Location perfect - lovely walking straight from the house, as well as being easy to reach Lewes, Brighton, countryside. The garden was beautiful too.

The property had everything, full kitchen, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, clothes rack, bathroom downstairs and show upstairs. Also lovely garden and walking trials.

Very well equipped cottage for a family stay. Lots of space - a bedroom with 2 beds for the kids, another bedroom for the parents, a kitchen and a sitting area downstairs. 2 bathrooms. Cozy and clean, has everything you need for a family on a holiday
