This is truly a hidden gem! A 3 bedroom home, each with its own bathroom, equipped with everything you need and more (the cherry on top being the hot tub). Bakery, supermarket and fuel are all nearby and several very good tavernas are within 5 minutes. The location is perfect as a main base to visit the north side of the island and Paliki. And Dimitris, the host, welcomed us with home grown vegetables, greek wine and delicious traditional Feta cheese made from his sheep farm. When we return to Kefalonia, Kokonis House will definitely be our first choice.

Spacious 2 bedroom house with a great sea view. 2 balconies and a large terrace with chairs, tables, sun loungers and brick barbecue. Always able to be in the sun or the shade depending on your preference. Friendly and welcoming host, welcome pack on arrival and met us at the house even though our flight was delayed and it was past midnight. We asked if there were sun loungers and the next day 2 new loungers were delivered. Air conditioned throughout and especially effective in both bedrooms which was much needed as there was a heatwave during our stay. Car definitely desirable as 10 minute walk up from the village centre so helpful in the heat of the day and with shopping but close enough to stroll back up after a glass of wine in the harbour area restaurants, a car also allowed us to explore the area.

We stayed in Gabriel Houses 4 with four persons. The apartment is very spacious, clean and has all you need. Huge living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Good bedrooms with nice beds and a balcony. 2 bathrooms (one up- and one downstairs) The pool is perfectly positioned. There is always a choice between sun and shadow to lay down and the water is never too warm.
