Gorgeous house. Really luxurious and it's clear the owners have put a lot of money and love into it. They left no stone unturned and even left a welcome hamper. Beds were super comfy. Amazing shower. Really warm despite the November weather. The house was spotless. Also dog friendly which is always a huge plus for us! Great location with lovely walks and 3 minutes drive to Garretstown beach for a dip! Ticks all the boxes. The hosts live on the same grounds but you wouldn't even know. Really great value for money for such a nice property in an excellent location. Would highly recommend.

We spent a most memorable week at Cottage by the Sea. The cottage, garden and views are just lovely and our dog, Maggie, loved exploring the secure garden. We met John next door who was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The cottage is the perfect location from which to explore West Cork - a week just wasn’t long enough!!

Everything. The location on the hillside overlooking the sea was exactly what we were looking for. The room was spacious and clean. Very quiet. The host, John, was exceptional and went out of his way to answer our questions about the history of the area. We loved sharing a nightcap with him and some of the other guests.
