The apartment was spotless and well equipped. It is quiet and overlooks a field and has secure parking. It is in easy walking distance of pizzerias, gelateria and restaurants and a short drive to 3 supermarkets, more restaurants and a wonderful dolciaria. Altedo is perfectly placed to explore the Emilia-Romagna region. It is half way between Bologna and Ferrara, each a half hour or less drive away. It is in easy driving distance of Modena, Cremona, Mantua, Verona, Padua, Ravenna and the charming coastal canal towns of Chioggio and Comacchio. From Ravenna it is a short drive to San Marino, an independent hill state in the heart of Italy. We would like to thank Fabio for being such a helpful, kind and generous host, he even found a nurse to dress a deep cut on my wife’s hand.

Super calm place and really nice staff. A lots of lovely details, especially the decorations!! There also was a big shadow garden with playing stuff for children. The perfect place to relax. And you have to stay there for dinner. The food was amazing!!

We had an amazing stay in a the charming beautiful house of Elisabetta and the family. Amazing hosts, super warm and friendly. They produce their own juices and wines and vinegars.
