We had a great and unforgettable stay at Il Renaiolo and we certainly recommend it to anyone who may have a keen interest to stay in an agriturismo in Umbria. The location is logistically perfect for excursions. Moreover, it is secluded but still close to the lovely town of Spello, the town of art and flowers and one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Il Renaiolo is magical and capable of delivering the essence of a time. The structure is beautifully designed located in a beautiful place surrounded by greenery at the foot of Mount Subasio, just outside Spello. It is easily reached by car. It has large and airy rooms which are very clean and well heated. Big compliments to the owners, especially to Giusa for the plentiful breakfast with Umbrian flavours and for the home-made cakes (simply delicious) and tea and also to Francesco and Chiara for the warm welcome and hospitality. We felt we were part of the Renaiolo family and not just occasional guests. Their dedication to service is really exceptional. Here you can also find excellent anti-fatigue massages by Fabio especially to neck, feet and back. The a beautiful historic property was beautifully renovated.The room was spacious with a fabulous panoramic view from the windows. it is on a vista that allows you to see Spello and the olive groves all around. there was a beautiful archway entrance to the pool of heavily blooming gorgeous dark pink roses. It was located in an area that wasn’t heavily populated and was very private. Yet it’s only minutes to the really amazing historic town of Spello. All, truly fabulous! Great made to order breakfast. Fabio the manager prepared it quickly and we’ll made with a smile on his face! We really liked him too!

Our stay at Il Moraiolo has been fantastic. We had the large apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which was very comfortable for our family of 4. The location of the property is simply amazing. It is situated in an olive grove and offers beautiful views across hills and valleys. The place is quiet and perfect to wind down and relax and forget about the hectic life back home. Still, it is easy to make day trips to must-see places like Assisi, Perugia, Monti Sibillini National Park, and many more. There are plenty of good restaurant options and supermarkets close by as well. The swimming pool is the cherry on the cake, offering stunning views and is the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day. Finally, the hosts are lovely and gave our vacation that extra touch with gestures like a home baked cake, fresh eggs from their chickens, home grown tomatoes, etc. We couldn't have wished for more.
