Totul este minunat, de la locatie, peisaje, apartament, totul. Un loc in care m-as intoarce oricand am avut si cele necesare sa gatim noi in bucataria amenajata. Asa ca, daca vreti sa gatiti, acolo gasiti cam tot ce aveti nevoie, trebuie doar sa va achizitionati ingredientele.. Rrcomand aceasta locatie pentru un sejur placut in Toscana! I haven’t been to Tuscany before but I believe Torre a Cona offers you an amazing get away within 30 min. drive to Florence city center. Everything was amazing! We only stayed for one night but it was definitely a highlight in our trip. We booked cellar tour with dinner during our stay. It was also a nice experience.

Just wow. We stayed for five nights at this stunning property. Our plan was to visit Florence and other surrounding areas but did not want to be in the middle of the city. Casignano checked all the right boxes. Christina and Maurizio were terrific hosts, very friendly and attentive. They supplied not only us but all visitors with open arms making everyone feel welcomed. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, separated from the main house. Serene is the best adjective to describe the property. There is a good distance between the property and the highway- perfect silence can be experienced nearly all hours. No airplanes, no trains, very few cars. One may hear the resident horse neighing or donkey singing occasionally. The view- spectacular. The property has a nice patio area that overlooks a beautiful valley, even on a cloudy day the view is gorgeous. There was no aspect of our stay we did not enjoy, the hosts and property provided a perfect opportunity to forget the daily grind and take some time to genuinely relax. This is by no means a complaint because to experience this level of peace there has to be a caveat which I’ll share- as a lover of all things vehicular I would suggest to not drive the small lane ways with a lowered vehicle. My wife and I would recommend this departure from the day to day to anyone desiring to experience the wonders of Florence and still be able to unwind at a beautiful destination surrounded by great eateries. Another note- Christina’s home made jams are terrific. Sorry I did not take photos of the residence from the inside as I was more drawn to the sights outside the walls.

A very relaxing stay in a rustic apartment overlooking the hills of the owners’ olive farms. The atmosphere is very beautiful and quiet if you are looking to get away from the city. We were greeted kindly by Luca and were given recommendations for local restaurants and how to get around which was very helpful! There were lounge chairs outside to relax in. The accommodations were pretty clean and had breakfast snacks for us. As far as transportation, we had rented a car and found a parking garage right outside of Florence’s ZTL zone within a 30 min drive that we utilized for when we wanted to go to the city, which was easy enough.
