This place is outstanding, the location is simply breathtaking. The apartment is small but very homey and equipped with plenty of amenities and complementary items such as breakfast stuff and coffee for the bialetti. We were able to cook some nice pasta dishes to enjoy on the beautiful balcony. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. San Bernardino as a location is very convenient if you are travelling by car as we were able to reach all of the cinque terre villages (start in the morning and park on the road somewhere, e.g above the Manarola car park, that way you don't have to pay for parking). Yes, the roads in cinque terre are narrow and winding but if you are somewhat used to driving mountain roads (as many Swiss people are), it's really not that bad, but best to have 4 eyes on the road. I was very scared of the driving part of this trip but it really wasn't that bad. We even had to park on the street below San Bernardino for most of the trip because there was an event on the church parking lot and that wasn't a problem either. At first I was sceptical if this apartment was gonna be worth it because it was slightly above our usual budget but it was the best decision, won't forget this place and the beautiful mornings sipping bialetti espresso while watching the sky and the sea change colours.

Great sea views, even better then on photographs. Great locality for hiking around. Clean and nice house, spacious terrace, place for parking a car. Coffe, tea, cakes...

The appartment is really nice and well decorated. Sabrina and Mattia are a lovely couple who gave us helpful advice of what to visit and where to eat. There were maps and leaflets, as well as some food and coffee for breakfast. We were very comfortable in the appartment.

Scenic location, cozy, well equiped apartment. There were lots of snacks, tea, espresso machine with lots of capsules, modern kitchen with big fridge. The owners were very friendly and forthcoming.

Elvileg kulcsos doboz lenne, minket azonban a szállásadó várt. Megmutatott mindent, készségesen elmagyarázta a helyi közlekedést, a nevezetességeket. Kér apartman van egymás mellett, a bejárati ajtó közös, a kis előtérből nyílnak az apartmanok. Mindegyik zárható, de ha a szomszéd véletlenül zajos, az bizony áthallatszik. Mi ősszel voltunk, így nem volt gond a hőmérséklettel, nyáron viszont napközben lehet, hogy hiányozna a klíma.

Great view on the ocean and corniglia, quiet village of san bernardino in the mountains away from the hordes of tourists. Tidy appartement, with nice bed Parking permit from host included.

I loved the location: very quiet but not too far from Vernazza. Its a 45 minute walk but the excellent local bus service will get you there in 10 minutes. I'd also recommend that you take the longer route at least once for the spectacular views. The house is clean and well-equipped with lovely outside seating areas. The owner was very helpful.
