We liked everything about Jilly stay. It's situated in a very nice and calm neighborhood and not so far from Kandy town. It was a pleasant stay and recommended for those who travel with children. Breakfast and room service was well taken care of. The staff took good care of us.

We ve been very impressed about this family, they are really welcoming and also a warm family, about the accommodation... I don t have something to say, the pictures are real, it s clean, it s cozy, everything is nice for couple of days, we also ask to have breakfast in the morning, and I have just one word ... DELICIOUS 😋... they prepared a lot of food for us even if we don t eat so much .. just to have something in the morning in ours bellies 😂 but was very good that s for sure I recommend this accommodation for a couple of days because you will feel like in a Sri Lankan Family here, they are a really nice family. ❤️❤️🤗

The facilities here are brand new! So everything is clean and working well. We stayed in a room that was part of a 3 bedroom unit that had its own kitchenette, plates, glasses, cups & cutlery, kettle, fridge, dining table in a central space. This would be perfect for a family or small group! Our room was clean and comfortable with a bathroom and balcony. The shower & sink has hot & cold water. Towels & sheets were new and clean. Our unit was high up and faced the morning sun and Kandy town. This unit means no mold or mildew, less mosquitoes, less barking dogs, and very quiet. You have a beautiful city view and yet are well above the smog and city noises. The restaurant is not yet open so we brought our own breakfast foods from town. The host was pleasant and easy to contact. He immediately opened the locked door to let us in each time. There are no ceiling fans or ACs. We happened to be in Kandy during an unusual heat wave so were provided pedestal fans which worked well for moving the cool air inside our room. We were very comfortable sleeping with a light top sheet at night. This is an amazing price for such a clean, mold free unit with a great view!

The most hospitable host I’ve ever met, not just here in Sri Lanka, but in the world. Her husband, her sons, the tuk tuk driver they hired, and all the other staff were helping me out so much. They helped me with the laundry, took me on a day trip in Kandy, and even got me a train ticket from Kandy to Ella. The food they served was so delicious, especially the fried banana pancakes in breakfast. The host also taught me to eat with my hand, to truly appreciate their culture. The room was cozy, with a gorgeous city and hill view from the balcony. The location was not particularly good but, I mean, almost all other hostels are located somewhere in the mountains or suburbs. So, no complaints on that. In sum, the best lodging experience ever!

Hosts were really nice and talkative. The house is really beautiful and clean. View was amazing. The sounds of the naturę was one in a milion. Clean, big and well furnitured! Food was amazing!

The room is clean and spacious with a beautiful outside porch. The bed is equipped with mosquito nets, very useful since mosquitoes can be found in that aerea. The house is located on a hill 20 minutes walk from city center. The host is super nice and makes you feel welcomed and at home. She cooked us a typical Sri Lankan breakfast and it was delicious! She also offered us some juice made from the fruits she grows in her garden. We definitely recommend this place if you’re staying in Kandy!

The room had wonderful AirCon and a private room. It was exactly what I needed to rest after a long few months traveling. The bed was super comfy and overall a cozy room. Overall great value for the price. They even let me do laundry for free! The staff was super welcoming and helpful. They even picked me up for free from the train station to the property.
