It is a really lovely place. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is large and very well equipped. We could easily cater our meals. For English speaking guests it is a bonus having BBC 1and 2 on the television. The place is spotlessly clean. There are many interesting places to visit close at hand. The nearest decent supermarket is about 20 minutes by car.

Every now and then you stay in accommodation that makes you wish you were able to live in permanently, and consider redecorating your own house. This is one of those places. The owners have exquisite taste in terms of decor, and at the same time have created a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Small details (you can try their impressive tea collection and enjoy the equally impressive record and CD collection) make this so much more than just another hotel/apartment. The staff in the cafe downstairs are very friendly, and for a drink and something light to eat I would not bother going anywhere else. Vianden is a lovely town to walk around, visit the castle or do a bit of hiking.

Very pleasant place and atmosphere, from the greeting message, the friendly and relaxed check-in, to the very nicely renovated buildings with old-style charm. A calm oasis which also seemed to attract friendly people with whom to share a chat in the well-equipped kitchen or some time by the fire in the yard in the evening.
