we loved our stay! it was the perfect rural retreat! we explored all the castles and ruins around us, only 1 hour or less to most sights. the use of the grill for our dinner was wonderful, as was the relaxing day around the pool. would highly recommend Casa Da Azenha Castellem.

This little place right on the Camino de Santiago was perfect for our needs. The location was peaceful overlooking farmland. Sergio, our host, communicated with us right from the time of booking to explain where the key would be and the services available. He popped in to see that everything was fine and gave us a souvenir of our stay which we were most grateful for. Our small apartment was beautifully decorated and oozing with character. It was comfortable, there were snacks to purchase and a coffee machine. The bed was comfy and the shower hot. The small kitchen provided everything we needed.

Great location for the Camino. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Check in was easy using a key safe and code, and communication from our host Marília was first class.

The staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. They had a large group in for a Christmas function and still went out of their way to accommodate us and our needs. I have stayed twice at this hotel and it will continue to be my first choice, when visiting Coimbra.

Had an amazing stay at this lovely B & B. We were picked up at rabacal on our Camino and driven to the property. The owners were very kind we had a fire warming up the room nicely and a welcome wine on arrival. The dinner and breakfast provided was exceptional and homemade. We even given some food for our Camino journey that next day and driven back to our Camino route. Really felt we could relax and rest for the last stage of our Camino. Would recommend to anyone looking for a little rest and retreat.

Great location to be private yet visit Coimbra. Very beautiful property with many flowers and trees. While the property was near the Highway, soundproofed rooms made us feel like we were in a quiet place. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
