Beautiful and peaceful. A really warm welcome from the staff. The tipi was super comfortable and clean, as were all the facilities. The zen garden and pool were lovely, but our absolute favourite was the swimming lake! Learning more about the NGO and the projects and hopes for the future from the owner was really interesting and made us think a lot. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

We enjoyed our stay there. It is great that dogs are accepted, as they are part of the family. They were excited to run a bit in the yard, which is fenced. It is a small house, but perfect for a couple with 2 dogs. At 2 minutes walk there is a forest where we could unleash them. They had the time of their life there. The property is perfect to disconnect from the big cities and to enjoy the sounds of the nature. The owner was very nice. As the house was not occupied, we could check in earlier. It was very appreciated after 22 hrs drive.

I came there to work remote and while staying in a nice nature sport. It was great for that. The watermill is very beautiful with a waterfall that you can use as shower! Was very relaxed and easygoing but everything was organized. Internet worked well enough for videocalls and was stable.

incredible nature, the stream just outside our room was perfect! we woke up to the wonderful green surroundings and to the chirping of the birds. other than that complete silence. it was perfect. the staff is extremely friendly and they did their best to accommodate our vegan needs:) the bed was super comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Madeira. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is just like home, with absolutely everything we needed. The view from the garden is astonishing. We were enchanted by the owner's kindness and we loved the two dogs who welcomed us as well. Many thanks to the owner for making our stay remarkable!
