The description of the apartment is just right: it is spacious and well-located for a quiet time in nature! The apartment is well-equipped with a sauna, bath, a nice kitchen and everything for a comfortable short stay. Tamara and Marjan are excellent hosts; they welcomed us with local (as well as homemade) drinks and let us borrow their car to get ourselves dinner in Postojna! We were really touched by their kindness and we regretted not having another day at this beautiful apartment. We will surely return to be hosted by Tamara and Marjan if we're in Postojna again.

Super cute apartment in a lovely, calm area with great nature all around. Very friendly and helpful host. Exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Bonus points: you can buy honey from the bees the owner keeps in the garden

The location outside of Postojna was excellent, as we were looking for a location in a nature, but close to the city (3.5 km). The owner was very nice, spoke excellent serbo-croat (besides English that was announced). She recomended us a restaurant near by for the dinner - which was excellent, even with open-air rural ethno museum. Grill and salads - but of a good quality and quantity. Zagon had no breakfast, but there was excellent Marche at nearest OMV petrol station. Also, the owners were very discreet - thus we had as much privacy as we wanted. Highly recommended!

This was the most special stay during our Balkan trip. The house is built on top of Roman ruins in the area. There is a small museum in one room which explains the history of the place. Do not miss it. It is beautifully done. Room was clean and cosy with view towards a quite road and another pretty house. Good food and wine. It is served in the restaurant on the ground floor which bears aura of old times. The views around the house are great. Several trails to walk. Great place to stay if you are visiting Postojna cave, just 30 minutes away. And 15 minutes from Predjama Castle.

The breakfast was delicious. We also made a reservation for dinner during our stay, and we were blown away by the quality and presentation of the food! The reception and dining building is gorgeous!
