In the center of Al Ain, this Rotana overlooks a green park. It features a large outdoor pool with furnished terrace and offers elegant accommodations with furnished balconies and mountain views. We stayed at the Falaj Suite. Beautiful hotel! Our window opened to the poolside view. Every suite had patio furniture and a balcony/terrace area. The suite opens to hallway leading to lounge and dining area. The room has 2 bathrooms. Both bedroom and lounge have separate TV sets. The ambiance and decor of the room was very beautiful. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious, as well as the lounge/dining area. The breakfast buffet was great. Plenty of options! Both swimming pools were temperature controlled. My kids loved running around the many lawn and garden areas, as well as the kids swings & slides area. Staff is the most courteous and friendly. Al Ain is a beautiful part of Abu Dhabi. Far removed from the main city, it is green and quiet. There are only 2 bars in the area that have an alcohol licence - to my knowledge - so if you're after a big night out, this isn't the place for you. The Al Ain Zoo was quiet, but I would recommend the safari experience to a friend. I actually have a few times now. Groupon has great deals for the safari experience, just make sure that you call the zoo and book your place in advance to avoid disappointment. We headed to McGettigan's for an evening, as I have a few friends that drink. The setting was lovely, and much different to the usual McGettigan's in the city. They did a bottomless wings night for 100 dirham, which was well worth it. Altogether as a stacaytation of 2 nights during COVID times, Al Ain held up well!
Al Ain is always a pleasure to visit and especially during during fall / winter. Don't miss a chance to visit Mount Hafeet and see all the landmarks. Try to visit the Oasis which is only open from 7 AM to 12 PM. Al Ain has palm trees and dates that are unique to it only. Actually be careful NOT to bring any date fruits with you because if you drop a seed by mistake, that would be an ecological disaster. Very friendly people. Lots of restaurants and museums to visit. Be very careful from traffic cameras. They are EVERYWHERE.
best weather in Abu Dhabi region, specially this time of the year. the mornings are cool and refreshing, afternoons are bit hot but not as hot in AD city, night time was the best temperature..good place to relax and watch the green beautiful nature of al ain. nice people ,very helpful too. it is the best destination if you want to relax, enjoy the nice weather away from the crowded city, maybe go for a picnic .a drive to Hafeet mountain (if you are confident about driving difficult mountain road, go at night an watch the city lights).
We loved the Oasis, the hafeet mountain, the camel market, was a great experience, we missed the Al qtaara Arts centre, was closed. als we lost the evening in the desert, and the water park, a lot to do in one weekend.
I like everything. But can u please tell to you room service to check carefully the room number if other room has a request. Because at 3am someone is knocking our door and asking us if we order something or not but honestly we are notnordering anything from yhe reception. But all in all was good. 😍
A refreshing change from the big city. Great journey to get there and back which allowed us to see the desert. We were in UAE for birdwatching and Al Ain is one of the good spots for this. I would like to see more working with the natural plants and environment rather than trying to change the beautiful desert environments to look like something else.
