Located in Theth, 2.5 miles from Theth National Park, Bujtina Terthorja has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Guests can enjoy mountain views. Nice and quiet place, 30 minutes walking from the town center/supermarket. Plenty of space for parking, and even though the last few meters are not an asphalt road it is still ok for small economy cars. The rooms are small but clean and warm. Internet was available but we didn't use it. The dinner they prepared for us was one of the best we had!

Theth was amazing despair the weather wasn’t unsettle which made difficult I to walk about and was a bit risky when I try to climb the steps and so on . You must be fit and be able to walk a lot and for long time . Overall I enjoy the company and the views sunset and all was good . Locals are very friendly and the food fresh and delicious.
The paved road was just competed last year which makes arriving in a rental car possible. The drive up was amazing with hairpin turns and amazing views around each corner. Once arriving to the town, you feel like you have gone back in time to a village where the families are truly connected and everyone works together to help tourist experience the beauty of these amazing mountains. I have traveled the world and was still completely amazed at the beauty in the village and even more at the summit of the hikes. It will become more well known with time and it is a great time to experience it before it becomes more developed. The people in this area suffered under communism and in the past 30 years, since the country has been free, the families are rebuilding their lives and you can feel the excitement of them planning to better their community. HIghly recommend for at least 3 days so you can do a couple of the major hikes. We stayed in Theth and hiked to the summit of the Theth - Valdona pass and back to Theth again to avoid carrying our backpacks over the pass.
Everyone takes the hike over Valbone pass, which has an elevation gain of 1km, but tracks with less elevation are just as beautiful and varied, or even more so in case of the track from Theth to the Blue Eye waterfall. We did that one twice. Find a guest house that makes a hearty breakfast and dinner down in Theth valley, bring a straw hat against the sun, plan your hikes between 8 and 18 to return before it gets dark and cold and leave a few hours for picnics, photos and gawking at the views - it's not a race!
I can't express it better then Ismail Kadare how amazing are our Alps_in Theth you can see Bjeshket e Namuna in front of you: standing high: As Zog, As Vetetime Gjekund Syri S’has Ngrire Gjithcka-enderr Veshur Ne Guack Si Ne Hotelet E Shtrnjta Ku Shtegetari Shyn Shiu Dot Si Afrohet Luksit Alpin Shkembinj Si Tempuj Nen Re, Mbi Re Nje Varreze Bubullimash Kujdes, Nen Kembe Ke - Poezi nga Ismail Kadare
One of the most beautiful places in the world. Typical alpine village surrounded by high mountains with cows.sheeps,goats. Many possibilities to trek in the mountains, waterfalls etc. If possible pls bring some own food with you.Mini market sells only simple products,no fresh bread etc.It is very remote place but beautiful.
Everything was absolutely amazing, especially the staff! The best staff experience I've ever had in over 50 countries that I have the privilege of having traveled too. Amazing people work there! Thank you Xhenis and staff! Don't waste your time looking anywhere else and stay here! We ate every meal here, it was delicious.
