I am not sure if there is a better hotel
or service in this area, but it still deserves the Marriot flag. I don't use to book at high life hotel brands, now I made an exception. Their booking com price was reasonable if we compare with EU and other similar star hotels of Angola.
The Staff is amazing there, you feel yourself in the US. They really take care of guests and you get individual help
and attention. Their English is excellent and they are up to friendly chat. Their drivers, Fernando and Alberto also, who did also a good job to-from the airport.
The restaurant was OK also, including their price tags.
One of the best hotel transport still, in Africa.
I definitely recommend this place.
I just regret that the rooftop terrace was missed and I needed to leave earlier.

Beautiful city and very clean in some parts. Other parts are really filthy with lots of rubbish. The people are friendly, the food isn't bad; sometimes too salty and not spicy enough. The weather is wonderful, sunny but cool. The traffic is unbearable. There are mosquitoes, so come prepared. It's a place I would visit again.

Visa or Mastercard is not widely accepted at all places. and some shops only take Cash but does not have change for larger notes that the ATM's give you.
the Beach front restaurants mostly do take Visa/Mastercard and most CBD hotels. but the further you stay/travel outside Luanda most places only take cash(small notes) and local bank cards.

A normal, chaotic big African city - more expensive than most. Relatively safe to walk around downtown during the day; take care at night. If you need to be there for business, it's better than many 3rd world cities. For tourism, not much to see/do in Luanda. Airports are normal: Completely chaotic
It was really nice staying at this hostel. Very central, near to city centre and also only 7 minutes away from Airport by taxi. Room facilities were very clean and well maintained by lovely and friendly cleaning personal at the hostel.
Anton, the host of this hostel was extremely friendly and he helped me for everything i needed during my stay in Luanda. Muito obrigado :)
Hugo was exceptional! From the moment I left South Africa he was communicating with me and making sure that I arrive at the Guest House safely.
Even during my stay in Luanda, he was readily available to assist me with anything I needed!
The place is also very neat!
I like the location is very close to Sagrada familia and city center
There's a decent restaurant as part of the hotel and surrounding area
The room (king) was spacious
