Featuring free WiFi, Los Colorados Hostal offers accommodations in Angastaco, 43 mi from Cafayate. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms come with a private bathroom. The place was great, nice sized rooms with a terrace outside. No air con but windows had a fly screen. Comfy beds. Randomly there were bedside lights but no plug! The owner couldn’t do enough for us. Brought us plates out for our picnic tea and helped us with our on going journey. I’d stay again in a heartbeat
Located 16 miles from Molinos vineyards and offering a garden and free WiFi, Cardones de Molinos has accommodations in Molinos. Loved the room, it was a great size for the 3 of us. Nice hot showers, great wifi, tv, and heater to use at night. Would stay here again. The host was amazing.
Set in a refurbished colonial house just in front of El Molino de Pueblo Church, Hacienda de Molinos Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool overlooking Nevado de Cachi Mountain. There is a... The building is beautiful and you get a special experience staying in such a historic and well maintained place in a quiet town surrounded by mountains. The bedroom was spacious with high cielings, well ventilated, warm at night and good lighting. The bathroom well equipped with towels and toilettries, as well as a combined bathtub and shower. The beds are comfortable and also with a warm duvet for the colder nights. There is a huge pepper tree in one of the courtyards and while we had our breakfast outside a humming bird was feeding from some of the flowers. It was perfect. The breakfast was a selection of all sorts of traditional cakes, fruits, breads, jam, cereals ham and cheese - a good start to the day. We also had dinner there and the restaurant has an open fire that gives a cosy atmosphere. We especially enjoyed desert - a lemon and chocolate tart. 😋
Featuring a garden, Matices de Molinos Hostal is located in Molinos in the Salta Province region, 11 miles from Molinos vineyards. The property provides evening entertainment and free WiFi. We stayed at the Matices de Molinos Hostel on our way from Cafayate to Salta. We really liked the atmosphere, the fantastic view, the nature and from the first minute we felt like home. Mario and his family are really welcoming and they even invited us to their family dinner. They know the surrounding very good and can give a lot of helpful tips for activities. Muchas gracias!! We will definitely remember this stay.
Featuring a refurbished antique house, El Rancho de Manolo offers affordable accommodations with free WiFi in Molinos. The property includes an on site restaurant and a daily breakfast. Manolo is likely one of the best hosts I ever experienced in my travel life. He welcomed us, provided us with touristic information of the region and spent a good time talking to us about his life and the history of the region. Overall, the city of Molinos is small and chill, what allows you to walk around, talk to the people and take nice pictures. We loved staying at El Rancho de Manolo.
Boasting a lovely garden with a large outdoor pool, La Vaca Tranquila is a farm-stay located outside Cafayate. The property has impressive views of the mountains and free WiFi access in all areas. the owners threats everybody like an individual. They know when to leave you alone and when to give information. you have a kitchen with fridge, water kettle, salt, pepper....at your service. Rooms are nicely decorated. good eye for detail. important: it is very quiet. nice breakfast included with real coffee
I absolutely loved this quiet little town. We wanted to use it as a base to explore other areas, but getting there and getting out means driving miles on a gravel road. So, we just stayed put and explored. Such cool moments there. The cemetery is beautiful. The restaurant beside the 'new' church is excellent. The hike to Los Colorados is great - you can drive if you'd rather. The people are so friendly, and if you wander or drive around, you'll be sure to find someone who'll give you a taste of their wine. Many seem to sell out of their homes - a much cooler experience than a big bodega!
