Very neat and clean rooms. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Gonzalo and his team will help you with anything you need. The staff maintains the rooms regularly. The hotel is located in the centre of Salta, close to all nearby attractions. There was parking also available for my motorbike. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Clean, comfortable double room with nice bathroom, all furnished in a neutral hotel style, 24h reception deck, tasty breakfast buffet. They allowed us to check in very late (1 a.m.). Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I preferred it in person vs the photos. The room they gave me looked onto a little courtyard. It was spacious and bright. The staff were all very friendly. Location was super central and close to everything (be it city center or walking to San Bernardino. Only point to note, neither here nor there but for the day the rooms get updated - might be good to add a USB port or two to the rooms for charging electronics. I was only carrying one travel adapter (my own fault really) which mean that most days I had to choose between having my phone charged or having my camera charged.

We loved the historic neighborhood we stayed in, but others might find it a bit tawdry. No one spoke English, so brush up on your Spanish. We got along ok. Close to whatever we needed. Be sure to go to the market. Day trips were awesome. Buses were questionably reliable and usually full. Grocery store near us had everything we needed. We usually cooked at home but found a good bakery, pizza place and empanadas nearby. Be aware that if you need to do laundry, you take it to a bodega where they do the laundry for you. That was a new one for us. Walking on the pedestrian area with stores galore was a highlight. The plaza de Julio was awesome. Be sure to go there. Leave enough time if you are a detail oriented person. We stayed 16 days and it wasn't enough.SunflowerDayUnited States - 10

Salta sits in a valley surrounded by amazing natural beauty in every direction. The city itself is a bit run-down, narrow broken sidewalks, poor street drainage after rains, old buildings. But it has it's charm! There are a few great neighborhoods for food, bars and cafes. Nice teleferico to see city from, great museum of High Altitude with preserved Inca children. And going North to Tres Cruces or South to Cafayate will astonish your eyes. Gorgeous natural scenery!!

Salta is a nice, tranquil, smaller feel of an Argentinian city than say Mendoza or BA. It is a tad run down, broken sidewalks, bit more trash on streets than other cities, but it has charm regardless. The people are very friendly, never once did I feel unsafe anywhere day or night, and the surroundings/nature/beauty of the landscape is gorgeous! It is a great city to base from and explore all that the province has to offer. Without a doubt the best restaurant with the best prices is on Calle Balcarce and called '802 Cocina a las Brasas'. I ate there 4 times!! Also go to MAAM and see the preserved frozen Inca children found on a mountain top in 1999.NomaDRwhereUnited States - 10

Perfectly located, between the main Plaza 9 de Julio and the Balcarce peñas for going out at night. This hotel is gorgeous. It’s located in town, but the rooms are completely silent at night. The staff were very helpful, and we loved the egg and avocado toast breakfast. The medialunas were also memorable. My partner loved the music selection in the lobby: jazz, which is enough for him to love the entire experience of staying here.

This stylish, boutique hotel is gorgeous. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to take in and photograph. It's on the outskirts of town, slightly up a hill, so the view from the charming breakfast room is incredible. We loved every detail of the decor, and the staff were so kind and friendly. Lovely, spacious room, impeccably clean, so quiet, and with an incredible bathroom.

It was Christmas Eve so quite quiet to be honest in regards of previous comments. The guys at the reception were amazing. I was by myself, alone and I am really ok with that. But they invited me to their table and we had a chat for most of the night. Just lovely people in the northern part of Argentina. I had a room for myself. Comfy and nothing to complain about.
