This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Gothic Room which is large and very quiet, although it faces a larger main street. Although it wasn't an issue for us and should not deter you, note that the bathroom is an added feature to the room, so it has a little bit less privacy than a traditional hotel bathroom. The breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly, the room was extremely clean, beautiful and well-appointed. I also want to add that Ursula is the one to ask for anything you need. She is amazing!

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed and even had an unexpected room upgrade! Everyone was so nice, everything was super clean,and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious! The location was excellent- close to markets and hiking/bike trails. Parking was right in front and so convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Hands down the best value for money we got through booking yet for all the years we use it. We stayed at the "new" building, so everything was really brand new and modern. Beds were very comfortable. No issues with the soundproofing whatsoever. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Big bonus is the morning mountain view.

I am rating this again as I rated the wrong hotel the first time! Oops! Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The property is beautiful! When we arrived we were impressed by the lobby which was decorated for the holidays and had a warm fire burning. George was welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. After settling in we came downstairs and had a few drinks at the bar and George was just a pleasure to chat with. Because of his recommendation we were able to avoid traffic the next day and we arrived in plenty of time for our reservation. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was quite impressive! There was a huge assortment of good food and there was even a juicer if you were so inclined! The next night was our anniversary and George recommended a local restaurant which was exquisite! We enjoyed a tasty dinner of local fare with a lovely ambiance. We left full and thankful for the recommendation. We would not have found this place because Google maps was just not helping us! We didn't see George when checking out, but we did meet his father and had just a lovely conversation. He welcomed us to return in the spring/summer and we are planning on doing that for sure.

Ideal location for visiting three glaciers – Stubai, Hintertux, and Pitztal (about 1 to 1.5 hours’ drive through beautiful scenery). Directly from Fritzens, you can go on hiking trips or take a train to Innsbruck (15 minutes).
