We just had an amazing weekend experience in Malat hotel - amazing hosts and Malat family truly made us feel like home. Highlight of the stay was cosy experience in "central room" where you can enjoy glass of wine, listen to music and just chill. Having a record player is a nice touch (Miles Davis albums and other classics)... There is so much to do/see in the region: from Gottweig abbey, exploring Krems, Melk, Wachau and much more. Hosts of the hotel were super informative and helpful with travel tips, restaurant recommendation. Would definitely recommend Malat wine tour to learn about the winery, region and more. We will come back for sure!

Located in Furth, at the foot of Gottweig Abbey in the beautiful Austrian countryside, the Weinresidenz Sonnleitner is a beautiful property with exceptionally friendly staff. Weinresidenz Sonnleitner is family owned, and you can tell they take great pride in their establishment. The accommodations are clean and modern, the property is beautiful, and best of all, it's adults only, which makes it a great relaxing getaway for couples or friends out on an adventure. There is parking, they have bike storage (as there are great biking trails all around this area), and they have a restaurant on the premises. It's the perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

Hotel Zur goldenen Krone is located at the foot of Göttweig Abbey at the entrance to the Wachau Valley. WLAN access and parking are available free of charge.

The reception by the staff was exceptional. We were given a very nice room. The ambience of the hotel and the new outlook of the hotel interiors including the elevator with music was excellent. The hotel location away from any kind of human noise was just exceptional. For the three nights that we were there, we always woke up to the singing of the birds. The hotel gardens are serene, one can spend the whole time seated there in a very peaceful environment. The breakfast was excellent with a good combination of juices and cereals.

The appartment was at entry floor, close to the car parking. The host was available late at evening. The bathroom was really really big.

The guest house belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Göttweig Benedictine Abbey with 35 benedictine monks.

Location is excellent, good for exploring Wachau valley. However, the best thing about this place is breakfast and service. Absolutely spectacular, and great value for money. Great selection of most breakfast items and a la carte hot items. Truly enjoyed our short stay here.
