Everything was perfect. We had a great price deal for a big room with balcony, good view and cool bathroom. It was winter and the room was very well heated, bed was comfy and it was quiet, even tho there was a wedding/party at the restaurant late at night. Food was good in the morning, staff was nice. There was a nice fireplace at the reception, in the evening, was nice to sit there and watch it. The whole place has a rustic vibe to it, which we liked.

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Gothic Room which is large and very quiet, although it faces a larger main street. Although it wasn't an issue for us and should not deter you, note that the bathroom is an added feature to the room, so it has a little bit less privacy than a traditional hotel bathroom. The breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly, the room was extremely clean, beautiful and well-appointed. I also want to add that Ursula is the one to ask for anything you need. She is amazing!

An oasis of calm with comfortable rooms in a beautiful garden setting along the river. Very delicious breakfast with spacious sitting options including the garden. There is a beautiful sitting room with an honesty bar. The inclusion of the art work throughout is an added visual delight. Best of all was the staff- attentiveness, professionalism and friendliness..was beyond compare.

I stayed at the Michaelerhof pension, which is the ‘brother’ of the Alpenhotel Speckbacher Hof (1,9km away). The accommodation is really ‘retro’ but at a reasonable price. Great place to stay for 1-2 nights in case of heading to Brenner and further on, with an afternoon hike in the area. The location is great, close to hiking trails and in the middle of beautiful countryside. The breakfast was at the Speckbacher Hof and it was absolutely amazing.

What did we like, the Al;penhotel was brilliant had to pay extra for our room but with what was available for one night was plenty the view was worth it. Had a meal in the restaurant which we both enjoyed and the waiter was brilliant. Plenty to choose from at breakfast also staff very helpful even the cleaner gave me more coffee pods, we would deffo go back when travelling through : )

The main hotel was very nice. Good gardens, great view and well appointed and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful. However, we were moved to a second location 3km away and this was nowhere near the same standard, no resident staff, old and dusty.
