The location is great for these who like to be inspired and energized by the beauty of the old / traditional European city - standing on the hill overseeing the city and Danube river, the hotel is surrounded by century old villas and ultra modern villas which gradually entered this historic district. There is a (century/ies) old park at the backyard of the hotel, with walking/jogging trails, historic landmarks/monuments/sights etc. Yet, it is only 30 min of downhill walk to the railway station, or 15 min to the Hauptplatz (by Danube, University of Arts). I particularly enjoyed the sauna - unlike many other hotels where sauna facilities are tiny and the service is reduced to the idea of heating up a room, in Jägermayrhof sauna facility is on pair with expensive spa - the atmosphere, the scents, the decor and equipment - all make you to trully relax and enjoy.

Great place, friendly staff, close to the highway,but not close to have any noise, self check in, rooms are big, beds are comfy. Close to a big shopping mall, walking distance with lots of restaurants. This was our second stay.
