Lech is a great base for hiking in the area as well as right from town itself. Beautiful town with cute shops, cafes and restaurants. Hiking buses take you to other nearby towns for even more hiking. In winter it is a skier’s paradise, but we don’t ski.

Lech is a very nice village with excellent skiing access.

Lech is a very nice village with excellent skiing access. We made reservations for dinner each night which I recommend. The only challenge we had was that heavy snows caused a road closure on the night we planned to arrive so we had to delay our arrival by one day. Lech can be more challenging to reach than some other locations in the region.

Great village with a quality up-market atmosphere. Nice restaurants. Only irritation is that several restaurants supplied bread and fatty local sausage & cheese to the tables, then charged an arm and a leg for the privilege. An extremely PRIMITIVE way to increase the restaurants' cashflows. Very few great restaurants around the world would have the cheek to try this! My strong suggestion is to think again.

One of the best ski areas in Europe. Extensive high quality lift system, lots of variation in terrain and piste altitude, difficultly and length. The lift system and pistes are at one with their mountain setting.

Lech is lovely - a good looking resort with good places to...

Lech is lovely - a good looking resort with good places to eat - varied and not as expensive as the reputation suggests. The lift system is very good - although the link with Zurs isn't great - you need to use a track rather than piste to get back. But the ski buses are frequent and reliable, so fine. We mainly skied in Zurs and St Anton as snow was better, But links were great. You can ski all the way to the far side of St Anton in a short day.

If you are into downhill skiing, this place is ideal in all aspects - slopes, infrastructure and service. I personally do not ski, I came to take awesome pictures of the mountains and I was not disappointed! Beauty is all around :)) Also I liked gourmet food and some luxury shopping. Can recommend a big Strolz shop and a terrace restaurant of the Arlberg hotel, which also has a good DJ. So, if you want to feel pampered, spoilt and glamorous, come to Lech :))

The room was big enough for us to lay our all our ski clothing, packs, helmets goggles, braces etc. Storage for boots downstairs, and we left our skis at the rental place. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. We also had 4 course dinners included in the half board which was very good. The chef did a good job of working around my gluten & soy allergies while providing local Austrian meals. The spa was very nice with steam room and 3 types of saunas, relaxation room, tea and snacks etc.

My experience was over all great. The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel had a good location near the slopes and centre of Lech. I can gladly recommend this hotel!

We spent amazing time there. Hosts were very nice and helpfull. The meals were very varied and sophisticated. The hotel designe fit well with the local style.
