Czech RepublicOur stay at Lake Millstätter See was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself is a historic building, and you can even find a commemorative plaque that shares the history of the place, which added a special charm to our visit.
The staff were extremely kind and attentive. We were traveling with a child, and they always went out of their way to meet the needs of the youngest member of our family. We were also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade — a special thanks for that! The upgraded room was large and comfortable, with plenty of space for the three of us, a bathtub and shower, and a balcony offering breathtaking views of the lake.
Breakfast was very diverse, with enough options to satisfy even the pickiest eater. But what really deserves special praise were the dinners at the hotel’s restaurant — every single one was absolutely outstanding.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It is worth every penny, and we would happily return.

SloveniaWe liked the apartment. When we arrived, hostess came out and welcomed us. We had our private parking under the roof and in the shadow. There is a garage where we safely stored bicycles. Apartment was clean, large, we didn't miss anything. It was nice having a breakfast and dinner on the balcony with a beautiful view on the lake and a sunset. Would visit again.

Czech RepublicI've been going to Austria a lot lately. And I have to say that this was the best accommodation in terms of overall impression. Rene and Nieké are incredible great hosts and great people. They are linguistically equipped for every visit and their accommodation is suitable for families, couples and lovers alike. The room lacks nothing and the breakfast will satisfy everyone before skiing or hiking. If you want to experience Austria with all its beauty, stay with René and Nieké.

The staff was great and the room was very comfortable.
The staff was great and the room was very comfortable. Fast wi-fi and slippers and robe in the room. Parking was free and just outside the hotel. There is no elevator if you are on upper floors. Short walk to the abbey which is now an arts center and to the local beach although you could swim in the lake right from the hotel property.

Millstatt is a beautiful wilderness with plenty of sporting...
Millstatt is a beautiful wilderness with plenty of sporting and other opportunities. We really enjoyed the bicycle ride around the lake, the hike to the Garnet Gate, the sup in the deep and clear Millstatt lake.

Millstatt is a very nice area.
Millstatt is a very nice area. I think especially in summer it is nice. In winter (which is when we were there) it is not so crowded. The location is well situated between several ski area's all within 20-40 min driving distance

This hotel placed in a beautiful place, a little aabove the Millesttater see, in a beautiful village you can take a nice walk there along the lake,
The hotel is very comfy, extra large room(we took a suite of two rooms with balcony)
The breakfast is good ,
but the top side there is the hotel staff, especially the reception clerk witch welcome the gusts with the traditional Austrian dress, and was so nice.

The hotel sits on the side of the lake. Apart from spectacular views of the lake it also has its own entrance onto the lake for swimming. A very relaxing place. Breakfast adequate and for other meals a short 800m walk into the nearest small village where there are a good selection of evening meals

All staff were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a lake and also have a pool and saunas! They also have other free activities like stand up paddle boarding. A wonderful hotel, highly recommend staying here!

Lovely historic hotel with wonderful lake access and sauna. From the sauna you can go into the boat house and swim through it into the lake, so no change into swimwear is needed.
