Fantastic hotel! Everything from the building exterior and interior design and quality to the food and the exceptional staff was simply amazing. The outdoor areas are amazing with a wonderful lake view. Super relaxed and friendly atmosphere and I can only suggest it to anyone who wants to relax in a cosy but elegant environment.

Mondsee is a very pleasant area - very pleasant lakeside...

Mondsee is a very pleasant area - very pleasant lakeside gardens and facilities. We were particularly impressed by the Post Shuttle Bus facility which was great for visitors without their own car facilities. The service provided by the Tourist Information Office was also first class.

Mondsee is a very beautiful town.

Mondsee is a very beautiful town. It’s located by a lake and offers stunning views. The town’s church is gorgeous. I had the best meat I’ve ever eaten in my life there. If you have the chance, don’t miss visiting Restaurant Tauris Steaks & More.

Fantastic lake, beautiful mountains, nostalgic old town, easy to reach from Salzburg, near by to Wolfgangsee, Fuschal am See, cable car, boat ride, Mountain railway at wolfgangsee (schafbergbahn), paragliding and much more.. Just perfect

Off season Mondsee looks like a huge house for elderly. Almost everything was closed, apart from a few restaurants in the middle of the city. Everything on the beach is closed from january to february.

Amazing location, beautiful nature, gorgeous lake and the mountains offered perfect walking tours. Local people were nice too :) The centre of the city is small and pretty, many pubs with great wine and food. The location as well as the nature were well taken care off and clean. Totally worth visiting: Observation tower Kulmspitz We will for sure come back to explore more.

We were before Christmas, and at this time it is definitely worth going to this city for half a day! The center is small, but very nice, there is a small Christmas market, mostly with food, a very beautiful Basilica, and of course, the lake itself deserves a walk to it. After a two-hour walk, a good lunch at a local cafe or right at the market, and here is the minimum plan completed! In the summer, for sure, the program will be different.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant offer a very good choice, breakfast us amazing ..Our room.was brand new, just about finished in time i would.say. Great location for.those on long journeys as it sits 5 minutes from the motorway in a peaceful little village a few miles east of Salzburg with mountain views. Note: this hotel is not by the lake The private beach belongs to another hotel which is on the lake Mondaee.

Very clean and modern hotel with an electric chimney. Comfortable to stay for a few nights, Towels and tea/coffee are provided.The hotel is located 10 mins walk from Mondsee, and you wake up with the sounds of birds and a mountain river next to the building, We stayed there for the second time and it was a pleasure both times. Very easy to check-in and check-out without additional communication with the stuff.

This hotel is an absolut gem!! It is located right on the lake front and it has a very cute private beach. Hotel is very modern and everything was pristine clean there. The staff was also absolutely lovely, breakfast was soo good! And the spa! 5 star panoramatic spa!!!

Iris is a stylish boutique hotel with a seriously understaffed team. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Ours (and perhaps all of them?) came with both a bathtub and a steam shower – a very nice touch that left us impressed when we first arrived.

Friendly staff, was perfect for 1 night as a travel stop, but im sure its even better if you stay longer because of the beautiful lake and landscape. You could drink in the bar / terrace till 11 at night!
