The location is amazing!!! Bad Vigaun is an amazing place to stay in and have a great morning walk/jog or workout. The view from the room is breathtaking, you won't want to leave. The hotel design is unique, very elegant and luxurious. We stayed at the junior suite, it is big, has a great balcony to sit in and just enjoy the view. The staff a so helpful and welcoming. I like the close parking spaces just to go through the check-in process, though the regular parking lot is a few steps from the reception. Highly recommended!!

The rave reviews on this place are fully justified - the hotel is truly exceptional in every respect. Kuchl is a small, but very attractive village about 20 minutes by local train from the Salzburg HBF. I had been cross country skiing there many years ago, and when finding many hotels in Salzburg fully booked or over-priced, we decided to go to Kuchl, and I was impressed by the great reviews on Booking.com, and the hotel turned out to be even better than expected! A hotel of comparable quality in Salzburg would cost at least 5-times as much (and maybe even more). The hotel is attractive in the style of an Austrian village, and although in the valley of the Salzach River, it has amazing views of the high Alps that separate Austria and Germany. Ther are numerous opportunities for hikes in the region, from short easy walks to serious mountain climbing. However, the best thing about the hotel was the warm, welcoming, friendly staff who provide personal attention. Even though the hotel was not crowded, they provided a full, delicious Austrian breakfast with more options than even the most famous hotels in Austria. They recommended a great restaurant for dinner, which serves both excellent Austrian and Balkan cuisine. The room was reasonably spacious and well equipped, with a nice balcony overlooking the Alps. Furthermore, the hotel is a one minute walk from the train station, with local trains to and from Salzburg leaving every 30 minutes. Except for a few central hotels in Salzburg, it was almost as quick to get to the sites in this city as it is from many hotels in town. I have been to Austria many times, and the Wagnermigl and the town of Kuchl represent the best of traditional Austrian life and local color. I recommend it most enthusiastically!

The room design, the view from windows, the balcony which was divided in two (1 for the cold season, 1 for the warm season), the wellness area, the restaurant, the fact that wherever you went, there were pots filled with apples, full of taste and you could serve yourself at any time. The kids play ground. The nice/warm rest area at the reception. Everything in this hotel is thought out to the smallest detail. Behind the hotel is a train station and we had a connection to Salzburg every half hour. At the reception we received free tickets for public transport for the 3 days, for the whole family (2 adults+2 kids). We were completely pampered at this hotel. I definitely recommend it.

Honestly loved everything especially the nice workers. Loved the view from my room and I kept my window and doors opened whenever I was there because I couldn't get enough. Food was really good and they were so accommodating. This one lady for breakfast who spoke English, German and Spanish was teaching me words and took care of everyone. Inside is so neat especially the dining area and restaurant plus perfect location.

Breakfast is more than perfect! You can choose from the table and you can get hot breakfast eg. fried eggs, scrambed eggs for order also fresh orange juice if you like. You can eat dinner a la carte' for dinner. Very nice hosts, you can reach easily lots of places, like valley tour, waterfall, lifts, salt cave, Könnersee. Close to Salzburg, so I highly recommended everyone to choose this hotel!

Excellent hotel all round in attractive & quiet location of town. Great customer friendly service by staff, very clean & comfortable. Very convenient free parking & first class restaurant with vegetarian/vegan choices. Would not hesitate recommending to family & friends.

liked the ambiance of the hotel and the breakfast room. Very tasteful and pleasing .Enjoyed the view from the balcony ,especially listening to the local music band the church bell ringing and observing the troop in uniform shooting with their rifles .

The place has fantastic atmosphere, surrounded by the mountains, beautiful interior and exterior design. The house is full of art. We received great recommendation for restaurant in Hallen. The food is great in the hotel.
