This is a classic Australian Pub with a great local community. If you are a traveler who enjoys meeting and mixing with the the locals of the area you are visiting it is a great Australian local hotel with excellent facilities, great food and a wide range of good beer. Located close to all the Hunter Valley attractions it also has good walks with great bird life not far from its front door.

Well kept rooms in a 1908 hotel with some renovations. Still retains that old hotel charm complete with creaky floorboards. There is shared bathrooms including a Spa... which was cool to find. Also, common area kitchen with cereal, toast, tea, coffee and juices provided. Plenty of outside deck space front and back with a lovely guest only outdoor area that gets full sun and is great during winter. They also have a great bistro downstairs and the bar is well stocked and well tapped. Plenty of options. The place was well presented and real testament to the Publican. Well done.
