SingaporeEverything. It looks better than the photos. We have views of both the mountain and the sea. It has both indoor and outdoor patios. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. Has all the required amenities as well and just a very short walking distance away is a restaurant and shops including one where you can book your penguin tours. Scenic lookouts are also nearby. Wish we have stayed at least another night cos so much to explore In Bicheno.

Nice little town, lovely and clean and people were friendly.
Nice little town, lovely and clean and people were friendly. Public toilets were very clean and accessible.
Iga was well stocked we were able to grab the necessities plus some warm gloves and beanies at a reasonable price.
The blow hole, though only a small one ( so don't expect a hugh blow) was still good to see. The young kids there with other families were excited and enjoyed watching the water spray up.
The Bicheno penguin tour was great, very informative, our guide Matilda was lovely and very knowledgeable you could tell the little penguins are her passion. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend.
The beer and co was lovely, very welcoming and accommodating when ording pizza just before thier closing time which was delicious and warmed up well for breakfast the next morning 😁
We will return for sure and next time it will be for a longer stay to explore some more.

Lovely little town with beautiful vistas.
Lovely little town with beautiful vistas. You can enjoy just Bicheno or use it as a base to explore other interesting and beautiful places. The drive from Hobart is amazing with good roads and picturesque scenery. Loved it!! Bicheno is easy to get around and the Food and Brew Cafe was delightful. The Bicheno beams laser light show was enjoyable....an event in the winter. It was chilly but a more comfortable temperature than Hobart in July, but hey we were here in winter

The Lobster Shack should NOT be missed.

Bicheno is a lovely small town, the natural beauty of the east coast of Tasmania is honestly spectacular. Some nice coffee places with a surprisingly excellent patisserie in this corner of the world :)

Bicheno was the last location on our trip to Tasmania and it did not disappoint. Recently named the in the Australian Traveller best town in Aus, Bicheno has some of the most delicious food options, a couple of lovely homewares, fashion and gift shops, great coffee, and plenty to see and do. We enjoyed seeing giant sting rays at the boat ramp, visited the blowhole, ate fresh (and local) fish, went on a penguin tour and so much more. It is the kind of town where you can do almost nothing at all, or fill your trip with lots of options. It is very much a safe and friendly seaside escape. I only wish our stay was extended by another week.

Bicheno has just been named the best city in Australia- I totally agree!
It’s friendly , peaceful, beautiful beaches and has a vibe like no other . The bakery is excellent and has the friendliest staff . The RSL has the best roasts , coffee is great , and I can always grab a great item at the surf shops .
The eateries are great- The Lobster shack has amazing fresh fish .
It is a place I can be so happy and relaxed
The visuals of the most clear , aqua water is very therapeutic.

What did we like about the property we are asked. The answer is everything! We spent Christmas at Bicheno by the Bay and it would have to be one of the best Christmas’ ever. The best location, great facilities, and friendly staff made our holiday extremely memorable. This was our second stay here and once again it did not disappoint! One of most favourite places during our mini lap of Tassie. We will be back…Thanks again to Bicheno by the Bay.

OMG, we stayed in a beach front villa. A very comfortable town house style unit with spectacular views of Diamond Island. We woke to the sounds of penguins heading out to sea for the day. Would recommend this stay to anyone travelling the east coast of Tasmania.

Perfect stopover for us in our drive around Tasmania. Walking distance to everywhere. Pub/restaurant adjoins. Room was large, exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. Very close to the ocean.
