Well...well...well what a little gem this place is and one of the nicest places we have stayed in on our way down to the Margaret River region. Mike and Lorraine are great hosts and clearly want to see that their guests enjoy their stay with them. Everything is conveniently close to their place beaches, cafes, restaurants and shops. Our room was absolutely spotless and everything that we needed was available to us plus the breakfast was perfect for our needs. All in all a great place to stay and terrific value for money. If there was such a thing as six stars I would award it to this premises.
Located in the tranquil Tuart Forest, this secluded retreat is just 5 minutes’ drive from Busselton's town center and nearby several of Margaret River's famous wineries. Excellent facilities with pool and sauna plus a guests lounge. Very quiet surrounding and super clean.

Beach is very good and ocean is very clear. We came just before summer starts, so we could not do any diving, but I believe diving and snorkeling at Busselton jetty would be perfect. We did not have time to visit caves.
Busselton is the quintessential destination for Perthites, and has been for decades. The combination of great places to stay and it's closeness to everything the south west offers makes it the best place to set up for a short or long stay. The well held WA secret is out though, with flights from Melbourne starting in the new year, so get in now before everyone else does!
Great place to visit for a day or two, butif you stay longer it allows you to radiate to other regional centers like yallingup or dunsborough and Margaret River without having to change accomodation. Recommand whale watching in season, do bring a good pair of binoculars if you like nature, birds, whales, dolphins etc. The hotel near the jetty is a great meeting place and good restaurant. Adventures to be had in tree tops and water parks along bussell hwy. Plenty of art studios and good wineries to try out in the area. Recommend local markets for fresh produce and artisans, check times and days but usually on weekends.
Busselton is a great place, especially for families, they have an awesome skate park and play area on the beach front with plenty of places to eat. If your feeling energetic you can walk the Jetty to the underwater observatory or relax on the beach.
It is a great base for exploring the many attractions in the surrounding area. You can easily travel to Margaret River and beyond without wasting too much time getting there. Lots of great wineries and places to eat, local produce, arts, beaches, etc.
Busselton has a nice walkway along by its famous pier. The town's main Street has plenty of popular pubs and restaurants and it is a good place to use as a base for exploring the northern part of the Margaret River region.
The hostess and host, Linda and Greg, offer accommodations in a purpose built spacious guest house with large, comfortable bedrooms and baths, a modern living room, fully equipped kitchen, and even laundry facilities. A delicious hot breakfast is served in their dining room based on guest choices off a menu. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.
The house is modern design, tidy, wide and clean. Kitchen is nice with complete kitchenwares. Location is good just few minutes drive to Busselton jetty. Near to Woolworths. Temperature for bedrooms are controlling separately. That's awsome ! Friendly host. I can have early check in.
Home away from home! Everything we needed & even our four legged family member, Jake, was catered for with a dog bed, water & food bowls provided. The backyard was secure, grassed & has plenty of shade. Great location, opposite a park. Close to Busselton & the beach.
The outdoor pool was lovely and the rooms were very spacious. We liked the privacy afforded to each bungalow despite being situated very close together. The location of the hotel was also ideal. Close to Busselton but not in the heart of the city. Very quiet and peaceful.
It’s so welcoming and comfortable. There is so much to do and it’s close to a great beach, and shops. My partner and I try to come from perth to Busselton at least every 6 months. And we always stay at the Broadwater resort.

The apartment we stayed in was fantastic. Clean and serviced. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, gas stove, electric oven, and a dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets were included as was dishwashing liquid. We stayed in a 3 bed apartment which came with 3 ensuite bathrooms and a spa in the main ensuite - what more could you ask for. Great facilities and grounds with 3 swimming pools, 1 indoors. We ate at the a la carte restaurant and had duck breast and prawns. Fantastic meal and reasonably priced. Service was good in the restaurant Having stayed at other hotel's in the area I was very happy with Abbey Beach Hotel, we will definitely go back again.
Great location and friendly staff. There was plenty to see and do. Our daughter loved the jumping pillow! Conveniently close to the beach was a real bonus.
