Busselton is a great springboard for other places like Margaret River, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Cape Naturaliste/Bunker Bay. There are some very good cycle paths and lots of good local cuisine especially at the Origins Marketplace. The foreshaw is very well done and lots of great fishing from the Jetty and swimming with shark-netting for safety. Its a bit quiet on a Sunday afternoon so that's great for a stroll and a coffee

Busselton is our go-to holiday destination with young kids. It’s such a great place, very relaxed and has everything you need. You can be nice and secluded by the beach but you’re a short drive from the city centre where all the shops and comforts and conveniences of home are if you forget to bring what you need. It’s a great place to stay and do day trips to other places further south. The Busselton Jetty is a great place to visit. The cafes close by are great and there’s a big playground for the kids to enjoy. In summer they have inflatable climbing obstacle courses in the water which you can do for 2hrs. So much fun!
A great family holiday destination.Fantastic facilities for children right on the beach, playgrounds, skate park and safe swimming area. There are numerous restaurants and shops in the town. There are lots of interesting historic sights and tourist venues like the Old Jail and the jetty. Our family loved our time spent at The Beach Retreat. We loved how big the house was considering the size of our family. Parents and children could find time to themselves. Sitting out on the deck at the end of the day watching the silly wagtails, feeling the sea breeze through the trees was lovely. Beach was so close and immaculate and Busselton Jetty was close by.
