Caloundra has a range of shopping possibilities and cafes/restaurants both in the town itself and the adjacent beach side suburbs. There are plenty of car parking areas along the Passage and also the Moreton Bay coast. These are good for families wanting to swim and enjoy the sand or for those who just want to relax and watch the sea and passing ships. It is conveniently situated to major roads serving both south to Brisbane and north to the rest of the Sunshine Coast. I particularly like the Pumicestone Passage shore for bird watching and Shelley Beach for ship watching

Everyone is so nice and with all the trees it just gives a relaxed atmosphere and is pretty. So many places within half an hour's drive that you can visit and enjoy with family and friends. A lot of different beaches and plenty of accommodation. Also, there's a huge Ferris wheel down on the sure line with lots of little shops and eateries. The weather was nice and warm considering it was late June and winter time. Plenty of things to keep the kids and adults entertained day and night.

We have had many holidays in Caloundra and stayed in some of the better venues. Great eating places and nice family feel about it the whole area. Great food, great ice cream shops, great restaurants, and so easy to get to from Brisbane although highway can get very congested during holiday period.

Clean and modern family room with comfortable beds. Some extra cutlery and crockery, dishwashing liquid etc in the room which is helpful for a family when kids are demanding snacks in between meals or if you want to eat takeaway. Fantastic facilities for families - the kids loved the splash park, bouncy pillow and mini golf. Close to the beach and not far from Caloundra centre. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful and provided info on surrounding tourist attractions as well as discount tickets to Australia Zoo which were great.

The view across Golden Beach to Caloundra was beautiful. The room had a large balcony and a good sized living area. The bathroom was spacious with a spa tub and over bath shower. Kitchen facilities were adequate for 2 nights but a little small; we were aware that it was a kitchenette, although a coffee pod machine would have been great. Decent sized fridge, kettle, toaster and hotplate made breakfast easy.

The living room views and private roof top terrace are exceptional. The decor, layout, and furnishings were good, and the lounge and dining accommodated 5 guests very well. The TVs and streaming services were also good. The location is perfectly positioned between Golden Beach and Caloundra, and we also enjoyed the pool.
