Located in Cape Tribulation, within the Daintree National Park and World Heritage Listed Rainforest, Cape Trib Farm features barbecue facilities and views of the mountain. Location is so relaxing and beautiful, inside fruit garden. The cabin exceeded our expectation by being comfortable and well-equipped with ac, shower, fan. Owners served coffee/tea in the morning to the cabin and supplied fresh fruits for breakfast.
Set directly opposite Thornton Beach and surrounded by the Daintree National Park, Thornton Beach Bungalows feature a private patio offering views of the Coral Sea. Karen was really nice, helping us with everything we needed. The place is extremely special and well located. For sure if we come back to the area we will repeat, fully recommendable!
Epiphyte B & B offers accommodations with a private balcony or patio, just 5 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Cow Bay. All accommodations offers outdoor furniture, a fan and an private bathroom. Knowledgeable and helpful managers. Felt like being home.
Located in Cape Tribulation in the Queensland region, with Myall Beach and Cape Tribulation nearby, mist at Cape Tribulation provides accommodations with free private parking. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts who were incredibly welcoming and generous. The propety is in a beautiful location, at the edge of the rainforest with spectacular views out over the canopy. The cabin itself was spacious and really comfortable. We were thrilled with our stay.
Villa Zena is a colonial-style holiday villa located in the heart of the pristine Cape Tribulation valley. The Villa is surrounded by a magnificent garden and a tropical fruit orchard. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very well appointed kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. The house is very well located and set within a beautiful garden, with easy access to all local activities. We loved all the rainforest board walks, ocean safari trip and swimming in forest pools. WiFi was an unexpected bonus. Owners were extremely helpful offering lots of tips before arriving and during our stay. We would love to come back and visit again soon, and will be recommending to friends and family.
Noah Creek Eco Huts are located on the Noah Valley Rainforest Reserve. They offer private self-contained accommodations, in a ideal setting to experience the Cape Tribulation Daintree rainforest. Everything was amazing. It's so beautiful. The hut is incredible and they've thought of everything you could want in a rainforest experience. The views, the hikes, the birds...and being unplugged for a few days. Andy knows and obviously loves this land. And Lynette is a delight...but Rufus stole the show! What nice people...they can also recommend fun things to do in the area. This was our favorite place as we traveled around Australia...we highly recommend!!!
Black Palm Cape Tribulation is a self-catering, air-conditioned villa designed for a luxury stay, surrounded by the Daintree Rainforest and overlooking a seasonal creek. A wonderful and special setting and very comfortable. It was amazing to wake up to views of the rain forest and to be able to enjoy them from the spa bath, the showers, the kitchen, the deck too.
Set in the tranquil World Heratige listed Daintree Rainforest alongside your own private crystal clear creek, Daintree Cascades provides a wonderful escape. Everything about this stay was fantastic! The cottage was clean and comfortable. The cottage has all the necessary items to stay in and cook plus an outside BBQ. We loved swimming in the private fresh water creek and listening to the beautiful nature sounds over some wine. There is copious amounts of board games and DVD's to keep you entertained when the sun goes down. The owners of the property are friendly genuine people that have spent 16 years on this place and it makes you feel like they have thought of everything. We would definitely recommend staying here to get the experience of the Daintree lifestyle. It made our trip to Port Douglas feel very special!
The grounds, the cabins and the family. Loved it. Wish for internet connection and only one place to eat was open, Beach House. One must be a bit flexible with the location so remote and only satellite internet, which is very expensive.
Mt Sorrow was a great hike, very challenging descent after the night’s downpour but worth it to be in the rainforest! Not much of a view because of the clouds. Myall beach has a great rocky lookout point we hiked to and you can watch sea turtles and fish in the water below! Careful when the rocks are wet. We are at the Beach House one night for a roo steak and barramundi and had lunch at Mason’s cafe after a dip in the swimming hole! Tried to do some Daintree ice cream but they were cash only.
Stunning scenery. Amazing place to visit. Visited in August and there weren't many other tourists which was really nice. Did jungle Surfing there too which was a fantastic way to see the rainforest and was possible to do with three children ages 3, 5 and 7. Lots of great boardwalks through the rainforest to explore. Lots to keep children entertained. Easy to get around the area by car. We found it hard to find food at times as many places are open during limited hours which was a pain as we couldn't always feed the children when we wanted to. Limited places to buy groceries too so come prepared. Also be prepared with insect repellant!
Cape Trip is a beautiful spot! Great home made ice cream places, beautiful beaches, picture perfect rainforest. Some great attractions. We did the rainforest canopy walk, which had a dinosaur section with moving dinosaurs, the children really enjoyed it!
Fab destination but don't need allot of time - we travelled with kids and personally 2 days would have been enough . We did not do allot of tours and maybe we should have . Just felt they were pricey for our budget .
If you take the path down to the southern part of beach and walk to the viewpoint here that cannot be reached by bus/car it is much calmer. If you spend some time watching the ocean you migh even spot some sea turtles diving here.
Staying in this eco cottage was so cool- waking to the sounds of the birds was special. We stayed in the Hibiscus cottage with our 2 kids, it was clean and comfortable. My son loved the hammock :) Trish was so warm and welcoming. It just felt like home right away. The beach at Cow Bay is gorgeous- you can walk forever on it, and the swings were also a hit! About 40 minute drive to Cape Tribulation- you will need a car to explore from here. If you are looking for quiet, we highly recommend.

Camping style little hut, it was exactly what we were expecting. Bed super comfortable, AC worked wonderfully which was amazing because it's just so so hot outside! The lady at the reception was very kind and knowledgeable, gave some of advices on things to explore in the area. Pizza at the restaurant was delicious. Everything in the supermarket next door is pricey but what do you expect when in the middle of nowhere, just stock up if needed.
Lovely, clean and comfortable. There are only 3 cabins/apts in property and they are within the lush gardens. In the morning, we stumbled up a cassowary family right outside our door. Amazing to watch. WiFi was pretty good. Better than some fancy resorts in Port Douglass and Cairns this week! While there is not any food on the property, Marie will recommend good options nearby. Would definitely come back!
We absolutely loved the cabins and location, such an amazing rainforest experience. Clean and spacious room with everything you need including a Weber BBQ and outside eating area. There was tropical fruit on arrival and helpful information about the area. Self guided walk was clearly marked and takes you right through the rainforest, recommend a reasonable level of fitness.
Villa Zena was our private oasis in the rainforest, close to the small town of Cape Tribulation it was the perfect place to stay to explore the area. The house and the grounds are very well looked after and communication with the property managers was smooth. This is a great place to stay for a couple through to families or groups of friends.
Cute little cabin right across from Thornton beach. Loved the private use bbq, used it for dinner both nights (make sure to stock up in palm cove or Mossman as nothing around once over the ferry crossing) Friendly owners and only two cabins on site. Great place to base for exploring Cape Tribulation and surrounds.
Absolutely stunning! Beautiful private swimming hole and creek, lovely eco friendly accommodation secluded and the only noise was from the natural surroundings, very close to cape tribulation beach. Will definitely be going back again.
Really great location, nice property. Was cool having own private rainforest walk to our own private beach area. We were also lucky enough to have a Cassowary visit one morning, a really great experience for the whole family.
Everything, loved it, felt so connected with the rainforest. Perfect place to chill, pop a bottle of bubbly and have a BBQ alone in the midst of the Daintree Rainforest. Beautiful place
Clean, spacious room, beautiful rainforest setting. Very comfortable beds. Travis (manager) very friendly and helpful with advice for exploring the area. Highly recommend this hotel!
Perfect location to stay at Cape Tribulation! Everything is at your fingertips- Ocean Safari, Jungle Zip Lining, the beach, and nearby Whet Restaurant. Would definitely come back here.
included breakfast was not reflective of price for room. Should be more than a 'hostel' style breakfast for the price of the room.
Ideal location in Cape Tribulation to experience a rainforest feel. Calm and peaceful place.
Loved being in the Rainforest, surrounded by the wildlife.
