Set on 7 acres nestled within the heart of the Daintree Rainforest, Cape Trib Beach House features a private white sand beach area and an outdoor swimming pool. Guests can enjoy a daily beach bonfire.... Food at restaurant was delicious. Staff were excellent. A lovely break all up. Location beautiful.
Located in the heart of Cape Tribulation, PK's Jungle Village offers air-conditioned cabin-style rooms in a rainforest setting. It is a 2-minute stroll through tropical rainforest to Myall Beach. I loved my stay here. Came with partner and friends, stayed in a 6-bed dorm (which felt more like our own personal log cabin), brought the Esky down to the beach, watched sunset from a hammock, then sipped some locally made gin and tonic! It was amazing!
Located in Cape Tribulation, within the Daintree National Park and World Heritage Listed Rainforest, Cape Trib Farm features barbecue facilities and views of the mountain. Idyllic location, beautiful cabin and excellent hosts! Sam and the team were so kind and helpful. The cabin was modern and eco-friendly. The farm was the perfect surrounds for a relaxing stay in the Daintree.
Noah Creek Eco Huts are located on the Noah Valley Rainforest Reserve. They offer private self-contained accommodations, in a ideal setting to experience the Cape Tribulation Daintree rainforest. Andy was a great host, super welcoming, helpful and informative, accommodating we checked in late and great at telling us the history of the property and living around the Daintree rainforest. The house was spectacular, with open verandahs everywhere and amazing views. The fact that nature can come and go as it pleases makes everything even better! Wouldn’t have changed a thing in the entire stay!
Cape Tribulation, only in name. Where the rainforest meets the sea. Apart from the March flies it is a lovely! And like all nature they have their purpose. So take some insect repellent to deter the biters! Was last at Cape Trib in 1988 when there were no sealed roads only mud tracks. It’s still beautiful!
The landscape is beautiful, the reef is well worth snorkeling, the horse ride on the beach was awesome, Daintree ice cream was so good! I wouldn't recommend it for a family with young children due to the croc risk and there's not a lot for them to do.
Ocean safari half day reef snorkeling was a must. The crew were amazing, the fish and coral were fabulous. We also enjoyed the daintree discovery Centre and the crocodile boat trip on the daintree river on our way up to cape trib. The rainforest was amazing to drive through/stay in the middle of
So many exquisitely beautiful creeks and swimming holes, stunning beaches, ancient forest, wildlife, walking tacks and tours available. We ate out at On the Turps restaurant which was brilliant and also visited several local cafes for meals. Floravilla ice-cream was devine and I got to meet Betty Hinton, artist and business owner who was a real gem.
Very average, was nice to see the beach and do the nature walks. We drove out to a little creek up north called Emmagen Creek where you can swim but careful for crocs! Probably wouldn’t visit again, we stayed up here for the Daintree which was amazing!
The isolation and beach was what we expected and went for.The dinner we had was not cooked properly and the steak was tough, other meals were ok.It was nice to have visited 1 of the oldest rain forest in the world and to stand on the beach.
Spent a weekend at Wildwood. I’d visited Cape Tribulation on a previous trip to Australia and was keen to return. Wildwood was a great choice. Close to everything but at the same time very secluded. It’s rustic, but still very comfortable. WiFi was ok for email and messaging but don’t expect too much! Lots of fruit in the orchard, but mostly mangosteens at the time of our visit. I was a bit concerned about mosquitoes but there were actually very few (maybe I was just lucky!
Everything was amazing. It's so beautiful. The hut is incredible and they've thought of everything you could want in a rainforest experience. The views, the hikes, the birds...and being unplugged for a few days. Andy knows and obviously loves this land. And Lynette is a delight...but Rufus stole the show! What nice people...they can also recommend fun things to do in the area. This was our favorite place as we traveled around Australia...we highly recommend!!!
In the rainforest - cabins are secluded with open views of the forest and wildlife. Nice waking up at dawn and having a cup of coffee watching and listening. Shower open to the forest was great. Cabin is simple, but has the essentials. The real value is the setting Missed having the view at the next stop. There are trails around the property worth taking a walk and seeing the sculptures. Owners are very nice and helpful about the area
Camping style little hut, it was exactly what we were expecting. Bed super comfortable, AC worked wonderfully which was amazing because it's just so so hot outside! The lady at the reception was very kind and knowledgeable, gave some of advices on things to explore in the area. Pizza at the restaurant was delicious. Everything in the supermarket next door is pricey but what do you expect when in the middle of nowhere, just stock up if needed.
Staff was very welcoming and friendly, appreciative to have a conversation with you, our room and shared bathroom were both clean, beds were comfy, breakfast at Safari Lodge is very yummy (brekky wraps are the best!) including great coffee. Within walking distance you get convenience store (closing at 5pm), bar, dining restaurant, rainforest walks, beach (do not swim - crocodiles) and lookout points. We will definitely come back.
location is like a tropical paradise. Quiet with great communal area. Breakfast was wonderful and Mareen shared all the delicious fruit the family grows. The grounds were groomed and our stay was a wonderful moment. Sam was kind and helped us in getting on the Bloomfield tract. No problems and they are very well managed since the property is off the grid.
Villa Zena was our private oasis in the rainforest, close to the small town of Cape Tribulation it was the perfect place to stay to explore the area. The house and the grounds are very well looked after and communication with the property managers was smooth. This is a great place to stay for a couple through to families or groups of friends.
Very green and scenic. Very comfortable bed. Easy to get to other areas of Daintree. Very knowledgeable host regarding history of the area and things to do. Excellent fresh fruit plate in the morning. Much of it from his own orchard. Very fresh. Really enjoyed staying here
The Beach House is a little removed from the centre of 'town' but if you enjoy walking its not too far. The accommodation is comfortable and the food at the on-site restaurant is pretty good. The location on the beach is superb.
Absolutely stunning! Beautiful private swimming hole and creek, lovely eco friendly accommodation secluded and the only noise was from the natural surroundings, very close to cape tribulation beach. Will definitely be going back again.
Everything, so close to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Full BBQ outside our for all your cooking needs. Great base for all the Daintree, Cape Tribulation and Barrier Reef. So much more to say.........
Large house right in the middle of Cape Tribulation, close to local stores and activities. Beds and sofas very comfortable. Outdoor decking was amazing.
Location doesn't get any better when exploring cape tribulation or Daintree NP and experience the tropical wet rainforest.
Quiet Proximity to meals at hotel
Highly recommend a stay at Mist while exploring Cape Tribulation! This hidden gem was perfect with everything we needed and more. Excellent location and so serene! The hosts were very welcoming and let us know of all the great spots and places to see. We will definitely be back to stay here again.
Beautiful accommodation in a quiet rainforest area. the hosts were lovely. Many eating options nearby, or the room has one cooking facilities, including an outdoor barbeque.
All ready for us when we arrived
