Safari Lodge (previously known as Jungle Lodge) is located in the remote rainforest region of Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland. Excellent and Friendly Service. Clean rooms and facilities. Allowed late checkout with little or no warning. Great experience!
Located in Cape Tribulation, within the Daintree National Park and World Heritage Listed Rainforest, Cape Trib Farm features barbecue facilities and views of the mountain. True rain forest experience living in a tiny "home" for the night. We got a tour of the fruit farm when we arrived (schedule your tours in advance, every day at 2pm!), tried numerous types of exotic fruits on the tour, met the owners of the farm, got a fruit basket and bread with homemade jam in the morning, access to their full kitchen and food, etc. Each hut on the farm (there are 5) comes with a bed, bathroom with shower, and a cute little porch to sit and enjoy the outdoors. They are off the grid, so no cell service and no wifi in the cabins, but that is okay! UNPLUG and RELAX!! WELL WORTH IT!!!
Set directly opposite Thornton Beach and surrounded by the Daintree National Park, Thornton Beach Bungalows feature a private patio offering views of the Coral Sea. Very friendly hosts, good knowledge of area and suggested eating places
Epiphyte B & B offers accommodations with a private balcony or patio, just 5 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Cow Bay. All accommodations offers outdoor furniture, a fan and an private bathroom. Trish and Kev are amazing hosts. Trish met us when we arrived. She immediately understood what we wanted and helped us plan accordingly answering all the questions we threw up at her. Kev and Trish create a wonderful atmosphere at this amazing place.
Surrounded by the Daintree Rainforest National Park this environmentally-friendly retreat features a secluded outdoor swimming pool and a tour desk that can help you plan activities in the surrounding... We liked the clean and comfortable room, with a small but well organized kitchen (fridge, microwave, toaster, plates, cups, etc'). We especially want to thank Travis, who's help in organizing our day trips was invaluable, always ready to advice and supply what ever is needed - Thanks a lot Travis! The location is great, very close to many activities, beaches and walking tracks. Also, many bars and restaurants are between 1 to 15 minutes drive. The pool is also nice, just what you need at the end of a hot day...
Wildwood is set on a rare exotic fruit orchard, in the heart of Cape Tribulation. Great spot, matched up to all expectations, lovely owner Liz and care taker Claire, both very helpful, along with there helpers.
Located in Diwan in the Queensland region, Daintree Rainforest Beach House features a patio and garden views. Including a bar, this vacation home also has a restaurant. There is a nice deck at the back of the house. The kitchen was good and there is a nice big dining room table as well. The beach across the street is just beautiful and almost always deserted, or maybe we would see 1 or 2 other couples when we went there. It is a perfect beach for a long walk. It is seriously one of the most beautiful beaches, but too bad about the crocodiles! We wouldn't even go in the water. The house is as pictured for the most part; compliments to the photographer as the photos make it seem a little more posh and a little nicer than it really is!
Located in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest, Heritage Lodge offers air-conditioned cabins with private balcony and outdoor seating. It was a very comfortable cabin in the rainforest.
Located in Diwan in the Queensland region, Stonewood Views features a balcony.
Located in Diwan, Daintree Secrets Rainforest Sanctuary has accommodations with a private pool and private parking. This vacation home provides a private beach area as well as water sports facilities.... We loved everything! We were so far from home but have never felt more at home....
The grounds, the cabins and the family. Loved it. Wish for internet connection and only one place to eat was open, Beach House. One must be a bit flexible with the location so remote and only satellite internet, which is very expensive.
Mt Sorrow was a great hike, very challenging descent after the night’s downpour but worth it to be in the rainforest! Not much of a view because of the clouds. Myall beach has a great rocky lookout point we hiked to and you can watch sea turtles and fish in the water below! Careful when the rocks are wet. We are at the Beach House one night for a roo steak and barramundi and had lunch at Mason’s cafe after a dip in the swimming hole! Tried to do some Daintree ice cream but they were cash only.
Stunning scenery. Amazing place to visit. Visited in August and there weren't many other tourists which was really nice. Did jungle Surfing there too which was a fantastic way to see the rainforest and was possible to do with three children ages 3, 5 and 7. Lots of great boardwalks through the rainforest to explore. Lots to keep children entertained. Easy to get around the area by car. We found it hard to find food at times as many places are open during limited hours which was a pain as we couldn't always feed the children when we wanted to. Limited places to buy groceries too so come prepared. Also be prepared with insect repellant!
Cape Trip is a beautiful spot! Great home made ice cream places, beautiful beaches, picture perfect rainforest. Some great attractions. We did the rainforest canopy walk, which had a dinosaur section with moving dinosaurs, the children really enjoyed it!
Fab destination but don't need allot of time - we travelled with kids and personally 2 days would have been enough . We did not do allot of tours and maybe we should have . Just felt they were pricey for our budget .
If you take the path down to the southern part of beach and walk to the viewpoint here that cannot be reached by bus/car it is much calmer. If you spend some time watching the ocean you migh even spot some sea turtles diving here.

There is little to compare to this place, pristine isolation, a setting so private and at one with the rainforest, yet this luxury cabin has all the finishing touches and attention to detail that often get overlooked. The oversize bed, so comfortable, the breakfast supplies delicious and generous, the double shower and twin spa bath a real treat. But the winner of course is the view and the position; a babbling brook (lullaby), quintessential flora, fireflies that twinkles in the night and just a short drive to town and other attractions.

Lovely, clean and comfortable. There are only 3 cabins/apts in property and they are within the lush gardens. In the morning, we stumbled up a cassowary family right outside our door. Amazing to watch. WiFi was pretty good. Better than some fancy resorts in Port Douglass and Cairns this week! While there is not any food on the property, Marie will recommend good options nearby. Would definitely come back!

A place unique of its own. This little cabin in the jungle was amazing. This must have been an incredible challenge to bring this standard of comfort in the Daintree rainforest while limiting the ecological imprint as much as possible: the owners won it with a great success. We especially enjoyed the fruity breakfast on the terrace... with a casoary!

Cute little cabin right across from Thornton beach. Loved the private use bbq, used it for dinner both nights (make sure to stock up in palm cove or Mossman as nothing around once over the ferry crossing) Friendly owners and only two cabins on site. Great place to base for exploring Cape Tribulation and surrounds.

Loved our stay in Noah’s it was excellent to get away from it all and not have access to any internet or WiFi. Troy was the best host you could ask for, he was so informative about all the area, especially the walking trails. Highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the hustle n bustle.

Marrin and her family have a fantastic farm with very comfortable and clean cabins. There is plenty of hiking and beach walking around the area in addition to their fruit tasting on the farm. We enjoyed all of it! I highly recommmend staying here if you’re in the mood for some Cape Trib adventure!

Simply the best way to experience the Daintree rainforest. Off the grid and away from the city noise, you will appreciate the fact that your cellphone can't ring, you can't get on the Internet and can immerse yourself in the beauty of the nature that surrounds you.

Staff are friendly and tried to be accommodating as possible. We have two small kids and this just didn't really work for us as a family. The. Resort is really a good backpackers so set your expectations accordingly . Rooms are musty but clean.

Really great location, nice property. Was cool having own private rainforest walk to our own private beach area. We were also lucky enough to have a Cassowary visit one morning, a really great experience for the whole family.
