Staying at Turon Gates to visit the nearby Capertee Valley for birdwatching. Loved the place. Beautiful setting on a peaceful river and Gang-Gang Cuckatoos right outside the cabin ! We also saw hundreds of Kangaroos nearby from the road leading to our cabin ! The cabin was spacious and very confortable. Excellent place for the money.

Wonderful little cabin with views of the small lake. Everything we needed, comfy bed, good shower etc. no WiFi which wasn’t a problem for us, and neither was a lack of TV! No other people nearby, ducks on the lake, kangaroos in the distance, a lovely experience.Free eggs, herbs etc too

Wow! Exceptional stay, definitely the best place we stayed throughout our whole travels of Australia. Everything was absolutely perfect! Saw so many kangaroos in the fields next to us which was incredible. Zero phone signal which was absolutely lovely, really felt like such a relaxing break. Unfortunately i live in the UK or we would be back often. Facilities were great, bed was comfy and outdoor facilities were amazing including the baths! Amazing stay

The location was quiet, peaceful & therapeutic. Loved the 360 view of mountains and valley, with many kangaroo's & animals around to see! The cabin was very cosy and welcoming with a fireplace, loved using the candles that was provided as well! Susie was very kind and helpful which has made our stay at Black Wattle memorable and enjoyable.
