My family and I loved the place, it’s so peaceful and calm. There’s a unique sense of tranquility here. In the morning and the late afternoon, we could see kangaroos. The location is perfect and the whole team guided and organized everything for us! Grateful

The most tranquil and peaceful holiday we’ve had. The place was very beautiful, cozy, clean and well-kept, it had everything we needed for a weekend away. Appreciate the mini-experience of farm life even having to pick fresh eggs and seeing all the cows around. It’s also very near and convenient going to Mudgee so would recommend if you’re staying for winetouring in Mudgee but at the same time having some quiet

The location was quiet, peaceful & therapeutic. Loved the 360 view of mountains and valley, with many kangaroo's & animals around to see! The cabin was very cosy and welcoming with a fireplace, loved using the candles that was provided as well! Susie was very kind and helpful which has made our stay at Black Wattle memorable and enjoyable.

Location is perfect and the property is clean and tidy.

Location is perfect and the property is clean and tidy. Make it sure you check the guidelines and information provided before the trip. In winter make it sure you reach well before getting it dark as it looks difficult to travel through the national park when its dark and its required to drive through the middle of the forest to reach the property. No internet connection so make sure you have planned activities for kids. No foods or drinks can be purchased once you Entered in to the national park unless you drive back so make sure you have enough food or things to cook.Recommend to have fire wood as there is a fire place.

cabin is amazing and the view and privacy is to die for.

cabin is amazing and the view and privacy is to die for. Excellent for private getaway but would do small family easily. You have to have some ability to live off the grid a bit with conserving electricity due to solar and chopping wood for fire in colder months etc. Shower is small but cabin is not designed for luxury as much as relaxation. Kitchen is great for cooking and outside areas are superb (weather permitting). Owners are great and supply lots of info for running of property and things to do.
