This is a very old motel which shows,and needs a new building. I think the staff are trying to do the best they can. For example, the out door area was dusty , uneven concrete and pavers with weeds through it There is no hand basin in the shower rooms and so you have to clean your teeth, wash your hands after toileting and wash your dishes in the same sink, not very hygienic by today's standards. The staff were welcoming and pleasant, so no complaints there.

Forgot to take breakfast but had it on the way home at Pasture & Co at the Eco village in Currumbin Valley. Very nice and relaxing.

This Hotel is located right between the beach and Twin Towns Sports Club. It’s location is perfect with cafes, restaurants, shopping plaza and the beach all within a short stroll. The rooms have been redecorated with a sort of industrial theme with polished concrete floors and exposed beams where the ceiling might once have been.
We were welcomed on arrival by the very friendly receptionist and directed to our room on the top floor of this three story walk-up building. After carrying our bags and esky from our car parked nearby up to our room we were able to place our freezer blocks in the communal freezer back down on the ground floor. The bar fridge had no freezer. Another flight of stairs allowed access to the rooftop above where you could enjoy fabulous views of the coast.
This Hotel is different and probably great for under 40s, unfortunately we are well past that category.
