Daintree Ecolodge is located in the middle of the Daintree National Park Rainforest. This boutique lodge has a day spa and an on site restaurant, which overlooks the freshwater lagoon. The serenity of Daintree was beyond what was described on-line. The banyon cottages were tastefully done & the screened porch was amazing. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Daintree. The food was delicious & thoughtfully prepared. We had to leave early Sunday morning & they had a pack-to-go breakfast ready for us when we checked out.

Daintree Village Hideaway is a scenic drive 1.5-hour drive north of Cairns, in North Queensland. Great accommodations in a tranquil setting. The room / villa was very spacious with a living area, kitchenette and perfect little porch for relaxing. Best of all we’re the wonderful owners, Haley and Mike, who were so welcoming and helpful in giving us tips on places not to be missed along with information on the local plants and wildlife. They served a delicious healthy breakfast on the veranda overlooking the pool and backyard and open space. Can’t say enough nice things about this lovely hideaway in Daintree Village!

Located in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park, Daintree Wild Bed & Breakfast offers a pool, an open-air restaurant and free WiFi in public areas. Great hosts, wonderful spot! If you book splash out on the more expensive rooms that overlook the zoo rather than the pool view rooms, better wifi, great views, friendly animals. The squirrel gliders were my favourites

Give yourself time to travel around the area. We had three days which allowed us to visit most to the main sites and do some great bush walks. You will defiantly need to bring or hire a care if you want the flexibility to travel round the area.
Sometimes when you visit a much publicised location, reknown for its spectacular beauty, it is occasionally an anti-climax. However, the Daintree and Cape Tribulation is the exception; it is everything it is known for - incredible beauty, spectacular views and the bonus of excellent facilities. We will be back.
Such a beautiful place. A must to see and experience. Visited lots of lovely bays beaches swam in fresh water holes (safe from saltwater crocs) and did some really nice walks through the rainforest. The drive is amazing saw a couple of cassowary plus other natives. The scenery just driving is spectacular. We live in a truly beautiful country. One for the bucket list.
So many things to do but definitely get 4wd so you can fully experience it without being worried because during rainy season it can be a bit intense. Croc tours are a must of course but also ask locals before doing anything, they know the area best (of course)
It’s lovely to go up for a night or 2 but I don’t recommend staying longer then that unless camping as there isn’t much to do that is free, the tourist attractions can be pricey. Make sure you go to Woolworths at Mossman if driving up as supplies are scarce and expensive, the phone reception is also limited with patches of wifi available at the accommodation venues. Also do you research- swimming is limited hahaha
There is nothing like walking in the oldest rainforest in the world. The rainforest lived up to its name, it rained all night while we were there but during the day it was beautiful. definitely worth a visit. Had an excellent trip just too short. We ate excellent ice cream at the Daintree icecream company and did all the boardwalks, even went to some swimming spots. Wish I had planned a longer stay.
