Just a 5-minute drive from Yarraman Train Station, ibis budget - Dandenong offers affordable accommodations with a TV and free on-site parking. Central Dandenong is a 5-minute drive away. Got two beds, a clean room with private shower and toilet, air conditioning and t.v, plus friendly, welcoming staff. Ibis saved me $49.00 for the night.

Insaa Serviced Apartments Dandenong offers luxury apartments located in the center of Dandenong, 22 mi from Melbourne CBD Each luxury unit offers views of the landscaped gardens. Excellent townhouse, in a great location which is closer to shops and other facilities, staff was friendly, and good value for money for a family home accommodation.
Entire 3 bedrooms home, Dandenong central, walk to bus is set in Dandenong. It offers free WiFi and a garden. The host was a pleasure to deal with even. Although we did not get a chance to meet, the host was in regular communications providing helpful advice for our stay. Not easy finding a property with large beds in every single room so that was a bonus.
Dandenong is like home away from home for our family. We love the market, plaza and the taste of different cultures there. The Lunar Drive In is always a fav with the kids or the cinema. Plenty of shopping to be done while there and it is also close to Waverly Gardens and Parkmore shopping centers.
The hotel charge me for car parking even though that was not mentioned at the time of booking. I was charged $150 for security deposit, and was told the money should be refunded within a few days. Now more than 5 days lapsed and no sign of it yet.
Dandenong larger than thought and a nice city. Taxi service leaves a lot to be desired. We needed maxi taxis for 9 of us and only sent a car. Then another car turned up. One of our party ended up walking/running as we needed to be at the opening by 7 pm. We ended up being late even though we allowed time to be half an hour early. Would like to confirm this is Joy Wood writing this review. Our daughter Melanie did the booking.
A feeling of not being safe after dark - comes from many news reports of issue sin the area, as well as personal experience of 1. Groups hanging around in dark streets after dark 2. Groups hanging around in entry to Punthill carpark after dark.
Dandenong is a place that my family will always go back often. Its a place to enjoy walking around the gardens. Its a place that we are very proud to showcase Australia to our visitors from overseas.Gardens are amazing even if it’s not in full bloom. As always the bird feeding is the most memorable time with our visitors. Having photos taken with the Cockatoos.
We did as little in Dandenong as possible, we only stayed as we had to pick up the car we were buying nearby. We were very glad to book secure onsite parking at our accommodation as there was a car broken into on the street just outside as we left for dinner. We were told not to Walk around the streets by friends familiar with the area.
Conveniently located close to the hospital, friendly staff, comfortable. Will definitely come back for another stay 😊
