Stayed in NT for 14 days which was 5 days Kakadu, 3 day Katherine and 1 day Litchfield and 5 days in Darwin. It was a good spread of days and locations. In Darwin we saw 4 Sunsets (One being the Sunset Cruise, one being The Trailer Boat Club lawns, another being the Casino lawns and the fourth being from East Point) All were excellent. Stokes Hill was excellent for a meal as were a number of other Darwin restaurants including Pee Wees at East Point and Lola's at Cullen Bay. Even the eateries at the Mindil markets were worth the visit. Its a great walk along the water front and access to the Stokes Hill precinct via the walkway overpass at the bottom of Smith street is very handy. Lastly can't beat the weather at this time of the year, between 30 to 32 degrees every day, most pleasant.
Waterfront is lovely. There is a lovely walk along the Esplanade and a viewing area where you can view the sunset. Great kids playground on the Esplanade as well. Tiwi Island was informative and a great day trip. Eva's in the Botanic Gardens is a great place to relax after a walk through the Gardens. Lots of different areas to explore. Art Gallery and Museum a must see, as is Stokes Wharf and the Flying Dr exhibition. Lots of great places to eat. A favourite brunch place is Harvest Press - never disappoints. Seafood on Cullen was amazing! Sailing Club for dinner is another place to see the sunset. Markets are nice but other nice spots to see the sunset.
Darwin inner City is an easy accessible place to walk everywhere. I found twice around the loop on the Hop On Hop Off Bus gives visitors a Great experience of things to visit etc. Downtown Waterfront is a Must Do part of the inner City. I found Darwin a Clean, Safe & Friendly. The Perth Bus Transport was Excellent & Frequently. Perth Airport is a Clean & Efficiently organized Facility.
Difficult to get correct information from the tourist information center Jumping Crocodile excellent however disappointing the effort one had to go to to get transport there. Sunset cruise on Cape Adeu enjoyable but food left a lot to be desired. Hop on Hop off bus excellent. Cullen wharf great restaurants. Maritime Museum, Military Museum RFDS tours excellent. Night time market disappointing expensive and food variety much the same.
Darwin is a small city, easy to get around. Plenty of eating places and points of interest. Probably best to visit during the dry season as the humidity during the wet can be very oppressive, The Hop On Hop Off bus is good value.

The idea that we stayed in it for 3 weeks. Absolutely the best holiday location we ever had in Darwin. The staff was so polite and professional we thought it was beyond their job description. We spent about 4 months in Darwin in 2020-21 on holidays and this was highly the best of the about 5 hotels/apartments we stayed in. Normally we can't afford the price of this one, but because of the pandemic and tourism bust we managed to fish out a deep price drop on it. It was well worth it, pity we can't book it again for next time.
Excellent budget friendly room rates. Excellent location. Only minutes walk to supermarkets, pubs, eateries, parks & gardens. Bus stop a few blocks up to take you to the main Darwin bus terminal to go anywhere. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a bonus kitchenette. Pool is excellent and clean with shade and full sun. The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much to assist you with. Special mention to Brad and Emma for making our stay great. Will definitely stay again when visiting Darwin next time. Very happy guest.
We recently had two stays at this hotel in a one bedroom apartment. It was excellent to be self contained, the laundry facilities were well used after a few remote trips in between stays. Due to the location it was an easy walk to wherever we needed to go. One Sunday afternoon we caught the bus to Mindle Market. The staff we encountered were friendly, efficient and always with a smile. We slept really well and loved the view over Darwin from the 25th floor. We highly recommend this hotel.
They " misplaced " my wife's $500 hair straightener after they said they would hold onto for us and when we call to pick it up, they said they "couldn't find it" which ruined the integrity of this hotel for me. $500 is alot of money for a middle class earner and we are ashamed that a staff member has obviously have taken it because they said they had it on the phone. Not happy.

We liked the size of the apartment, the balcony was great and good view. Apartment with well equipped kitchen and utensils , comfortable lounge area, good aircon and fans. Very spacious light and bright rooms. Clean crisp linen and towels. Quiet street Close to Darwin waterfront wave pool and restaurants and close to city restaurants and shopping, walking distance to most places. Friendly staff.
Darwin CBD, Darwin
The one bedroom apartment was lovely, clean and spacious with everything you need. Comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast included and great coffee. Loved the pool and rooftop bar. Fantastic staff, always friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance of waterfront and city centre. Definetely recommend and would stay here again if we return to Darwin.
the memories of what the Hilton Mitchell St, use to be!!! executive suite 5 Star hotel, is a joke!!! They should by furniture in FB MARKET AT LEAST THEY WILL LOOK BETTER , bathroom filthy, no bottle water on the rooms, since Sunday 30/01 till now 4/02 nobody change the linen, they never change the used dirty glasses. Absolute disaster!!!!

MOM Darwin has a great location in the city, close to supermarkets and restaurants. It was a comfortable place to stay for a few nights, and I would stay again. One could easily just hang out in the hostel, so it is a great place to stay while relaxing in Darwin.
Darwin CBD, Darwin
The room and hotel areas were clean, the room was comfortable and the hotel is in a great location, close to the city restaurants and bars and Darwin Waterfront and lagoon. The gardens are pleasant and the pool area was inviting.
central location in city center. Wlaking distance to all that I wanted as a tourist. Room was basic and like other hotels soundproofing is very basic. No restaurant service which is important for breakfast.
Parap, Darwin
Good accommodation for a work trip. Close to local amenities, hotel, takeaways, bakery etc. Area felt fairly safe and happily went for walks at night time. Good value for money.
